Striker Tom Elliott is set to join Bury on a three-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old will join the League Two club on Friday and will remain with Bury until December 19.
It is hoped the loan move will see Tom further develop his footballing education while at Gigg Lane.
Tom became the first ever schoolboy to play for Leeds United in February 2007 when Dennis Wise handed him his senior debut, as a substitute in the Coca-Cola Championship clash at Norwich City.
He has made three more senior appearances for the club, and has been a regular in the reserve side during the past two seasons.
Tom also had a stint on loan at Macclesfield Town last season.
The striker becomes the fifth player to move out on loan in recent weeks. Alan Martin and Tom Lees are both at Accrington Stanley, Alan Sheehan has joined Oldham Athletic, and Paul Huntington is at Stockport County.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
auren; a little bit harsh...
-

Spillere på utlån per 20.09.09:
* 11 Alan Sheehan (to Oldham Athletic/L1)
* 24 Paul Huntington (to Stockport County/L1)
* 25 Alan Martin (to Accrington Stanley)
* 26 Tom Lees (to Accrington Stanley)
* 29 Tom Elliott (to Bury/L2)

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has recalled left back Alan Sheehan from FA Cup rivals Oldham - and is now looking to sell him.
The former Republic of Ireland defender is unable to play against his parent club next weekend and his spell with Latics runs out afterwards, so he has gone back to Elland Road.
Now Grayson is seeking the highest bidder for Sheehan who does not figure in his long-term plans.

Milne could well start
Leeds United defender Andrew Milne could well make his debut for Quakers this weekend after his loan switch from League 1 leaders Leeds United was delayed. Milne was expected to be involved as Darlo took on Notts County on Tuesday evening however the youngster played no part in the game at Meadow Lane.
Milne could well come into the side at right back as Darlington have no recognised right sided defender at the club at this moment in time. Another defensive option open to Steve Staunton is to switch Danny Hall from centre half to full back and play Milne alongside Ian Miller in the heart of the sides defence. (..........)

Alan Sheehan impressed by Swindon Town ambition
Swindon Town's on-loan defender Alan Sheehan is impressed with the club's ambition since joining them from Leeds United last month.
The 23-year-old Irishman has played in wins over Wrexham and Leyton Orient.
"It's a good bunch of lads, a manager and a squad with ambition. That speaks for itself," he told BBC Wiltshire.
"They've made me feel really welcome. You get a feeling they don't want to be in this league much longer which is the way it should be."
Swindon currently lie in the final play-off spot in League One on 31 points but have two games in hand on their rivals.
Their match against Leeds was postponed to due international call-ups for the Yorkshire side while the game at Stockport County last week was called off at late notice due to a waterlogged pitch.

Leeds defender expected to return after injury
Andrew Milne will be sidelined for several weeks after sustaining an ankle injury
Darlington defender Andrew Milne is expected to return to Leeds after his loan spell with the Quakers was cut short through injury.
The teenager was stretchered off just before half-time in the weekend's 5-0 defeat at Torquay after sustaining an ankle injury and is likely to be sidelined for several weeks.
Milne, 19, who made his first appearance in the home defeat to Bradford the previous week, was due to return to Elland Road in early January. (PA)

"I don't want to distract the players by saying now that we're having them or we're not having them." he added.
"We've just got to make sure we get the best out of them during the next two games. Then we'll say what our plans are."

Shakers boss hails Elliott return
Bury boss Alan Knill reckons the return of Leeds striker Tom Elliott will serve as a massive boost to the club's attacking options.
Elliott will return to Gigg Lane in January on a loan deal for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old initially joined the Shakers on 17 September on a three-month loan deal, making his debut in the away win at Port Vale.
Knill said: "I'm delighted to have Tom back. We were all impressed with his attitude when he was with us earlier in the season and the plan was always for him to return.
"He gives us something different because of his pace and power and there is a lot there to work with."

LOAN MEN RETURN
Vokes and Ephraim return after loan spells...
Loan men Sam Vokes and Hogan Ephraim have returned to their parent clubs after loan spells with Leeds United.
Wolves striker Vokes, who scored one goal during his stay at Elland Road, has now returned to Molineux to resume his career with the Premier League club.
And Ephraim, who also netted once during his stay at Leeds, has re-joined Queens Park Rangers.
United manager Simon Grayson thanked both players for their efforts during their short-term stay with the club.
Fellow loan men Max Gradel and David Martin are staying on though.
Gradel's loan from Leicester has been extended to January 17 while Martin will remain at Elland Road until the end of January.
Cardiff City defender Tony Capaldi's loan spell is due to come to an end on Monday January 4.

Sheehan Stays At Swindon
Leeds United have agreed to loan defender Alan Sheehan to Swindon Town for the rest of the season.
Left-back Sheehan arrived at Town towards the end of November but had to depart the County Ground on Monday following the completion of his month-long stay.
The Irish international can also feature in any play-off fixture if Swindon finish in the top 6. He cannot, however, play in the League One games against Leeds on Tuesday, January 26 and Saturday, April 3.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield tonight, boss Ronnie Moore tells Leeds loanee Tom Elliott to get more involved.
Elliott has made 4 appearances for the Millers so far this season but has yet to find the back of the net.
After coming off just after half time against Shrewsbury with injury last weekend, the 19 year old is a doubt for this weekends game against Burton which has already been reported.
But in an interview with Radio Sheffield, Ronnie admits the youngster could do more; "It's a major problem for him and it's one we've really got to look at. If he's not going to contribute to us then we may as well send him back to Leeds. We need someone here that's going to contribute to the team."
"Paul Warne came on last weekend and was magnificent and he's 37 but runs round like a 2 year old while Tom's 19 and runs around like a 40 year old. It drives me crackers really." Ronnie added.

Her er litt statistikk angående lån (inn), "sakset" fra kampprogrammet v. Hull.

LUFC Seven loan players due back shortly
Leeds United will have a number of players returning from loan spells in early January as the transfer window reopens.
Lubomir Michalik and Mike Grella both Carlisle, Tom Lees - Bury, Tom Elliott - Rotherham, Liam Darville - Tranmere, Alan Martin - Barrow and Aidy White - Oldham are all due to return to Elland Road in the first week of January.
Michalik was told last summer to actively look for a new club by boss Simon Grayson and he has made his feelings clear this week by saying he wants to stay with the Cumbrian side.
The big Slovakian defender recently spoke in the West Cumberland Times and Star when he said, "I don`t known what`s happening with Leeds but I don`t think they are interested in me staying there so it would be easier for me to stay at Carlisle.
"It is nice to feel wanted. That is a better feeling and I am enjoying training and playing games.
"The manager has been absolutely great and the lads in the changing room have made me feel very welcome."
Grella is also enjoying life at Carlisle and is unsure of his future at Elland Road, speaking on Radio Cumbria, Grella said, 'I haven't heard anything from Leeds but my gut feeling would be that they would want me to stay out somewhere and get games in.
'I'd be happy to come back but football changes quickly.'
Tom Elliott hasn`t enjoyed his loan spell at Rotherham and as come under pressure from Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore after the young striker pulled out of a number of games through a supposed injury.
Elliott has made just seven appearances for the Millers and hasn`t featured since coming off the bench against Oxford in mid November.
The striker is still waiting for his first goal in Rotherham colours.
Tom Lees as recently signed a new two and a half year deal at Elland Road and is enjoying a productive loan spell at League Two promotion chasers Bury.
Lees as been an ever present for Bury making twenty-three appearances for the club and as also chipped in with two goals.
Alan Martin is having his second loan spell at Barrow after spending the 2008/09 season with the non league side when he made twenty seven appearances.
So far this season he`s made twelve appearances but hasn`t featured since the home defeat to Luton Town at the start of October.
Young defender Liam Darville has made thirteen appearances on loan at Tranmere but hasn`t featured since the end of October.
Aidy White joined Oldham in mid November and made a dream start scoring the winning goal on his debut in a 1-0 win at Dagenham and Redbridge.
He followed that up by scoring on his home debut in a 3-3 draw with Exeter.
White played in Oldham`s next game at Rochdale when they drew 1-1 but the cold weather snap as meant that they haven`t played since.
Leeds only other loan player Adam Clayton has extended his loan deal at Peterborough until the end of January, as Simon Grayson wants the young midfielder to gain some valuable first team experience.
January as ever is sure to be a busy month in the transfer market and it will be interesting to see whether loans will be extended, some maybe released or sold or they might comeback to fight for a place in the first team.

-
Spiller inn på lån for dyre?

Same old story, over and over again.

Ramon Nunez has joined Scunthorpe United on a initial month's loan.
The Honduran international is currrently away with his country, but will be back in England when Scunthorpe resume their league campaign on Saturday April 2.
Ramon, who scored all four goals in a recent 4-1 reserve victory against Lincoln City, has found first team opportunities limited and has made just two substitute appearances since joining the club.
The 25-year-old will join up with former United utility man Andrew Hughes at Glanford Park.

Skysports.com understands Leeds United are set to sign Celtic's Darren O'Dea.
The 24-year-old spent last season on-loan at Championship side Ipswich, before returning to Celtic for pre-season.
Now he is heading back south of the border to link up with Leeds in a similar deal.
Leeds are set to conclude his signing in the next 24-hours, and he will spend the whole season at Elland Road.
Republic of Ireland international O'Dea will be eligible to make his Leeds debut in their Championship opener at Southampton on Saturday.

LUFC Leeds duo enjoying trial.
Young Leeds United duo Sanchez Payne and Will Hatfield could be set to join Lincoln City on loan in January.
The duo are training with the Blue Square conference club with Lincoln boss David Holdsworth yet to make a decision on the pair.
Speaking in the Lincolnshire Echo, Holdsworth said, 'We have taken on a couple of trialists from Leeds with a view to possible loan signings.
'One is Sanchez Payne and another is Will Hatfield.
'I am grateful to Leeds for their assistance and we will see where that progresses.'
18-year-old Payne has been involved with the under 18`s in the FA Premier Academy League this season, making two appearances.
The youngster joined Leeds when he was just 12 year old and he has come through the Leeds academy
The midfielder made his debut for the reserves at just 15 year old.
He made 23 appearances for the under 18 side last season, netting twice.
He also made four appearances for the reserves side.
20-year-old Hatfield is another product of the Leeds United academy having first signed for the club as an 8 year old.
He is yet to feature for the first team although he was an unused substitute in the FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road in 2010.
Hatfield was the Leeds captain when they captured the reserve league title in 2010.
The attacking midfielder started 2011 on loan at York City, where he made four appearances.
He joined League Two side Accrington Stanley on loan in October.
Stanley extended the loan deal until the end of December after his initial month on loan finished in November.
Hatfield made four appearances with Stanley.
Lincoln have a long injury list at Sincil Bank at the moment and it could be a good chance for the pair to get some first team football.
I am sure the Imps fans will be hoping the pair can make a similar impact to the last Leeds player to join them on loan.
Davide Somma netted nine times in just fourteen appearances during a loan spell towards the end of the 2009/10 season, helping Lincoln move clear of the relegation zone.

Ny lovende spiller ut på lån....
Leeds youngster joins Bradford City on loan
Leeds teenager Charlie Taylor has joined City on a one-month loan after they decided not to offer a permanent deal to Jack Compton.
The left-sided 18-year-old, who made his senior debut as a sub against the Bantams in the Carling Cup, comes straight into consideration for tomorrow's clash with Rotherham.
Phil Parkinson said: "I've watched Charlie a few times for Leeds reserves and he's a good addition.
"With Reidy (Kyel Reid) being out, it gives us some fresh legs."
Parkinson also confirmed that City will be appealing against the red card David Syers received yesterday. The midfielder will be eligible to play tomorrow.

Accrington have signed goalkeeper Paul Rachubka on an emergency loan deal from Leeds United.
Regular keeper Ian Dunbavin suffered an injury in training this week, forcing Stanley to call in the 31-year-old.
The week-long deal begins with Rachubka starting for Stanley in Saturday's FA Cup tie at home to Oxford United.

18.02.2013:
LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - Taxi for Rachubka!
Vital Leeds looks at how the loan players did in the games over the weekend.
Patrick Kisnorbo - Ipswich Town (Rest of season)
Kisnorbo was once again an unused substitute as Ipswich beat Blackpool 1-0 at Portman Road to ease their relegation worries.
After making his debut in the FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa, Kisnorbo has been an unused substitute in their last five Ipswich games.
Danny Pugh - Sheffield Wednesday (Rest of season)
Sheffield Wednesday had no game on Saturday due to Millwall still being involved in the FA Cup.
Pugh has made 3 appearances since arriving at Hillsborough.
Dominic Poleon - Sheffield United (Rest of season)
Poleon came off the bench after 58 minutes to make his debut for Sheffield United. Poleon completed his loan deal earlier in the day on a 93-day loan. The Blades were 1-0 up against Colchester when Poleon entered the field and they went on to win 3-0.
Zac Thompson - Bury (Rest of season)
Thompson played the 90 minutes for Bury as their relegation fears worsened with a 2-0 home defeat to Coventry City.
Bury are now five points from safety at the bottom of League One.
The midfielder has made 22 appearances for Bury in two spells since originally arriving at Gigg Lane in October.
Paul Connolly - Preston North End (Rest of season)
Connolly played no part for Preston as they caused an upset by beating top of the table Bournemouth 2-0 at Deepdale.
Connolly has made 4 appearances since signing for Preston.
Paul Rachubka - Accrington Stanley (Rest of season)
Rachubka had a ground open up and swallow me moment for Accrington on Friday night.
Accrington looked like they were going to grab a much-needed point at promotion chasing Exeter City.
The game was goalless with eleven minutes remaining when Exeter substitute Jimmy Keohane fired the home side ahead with Rachubka standing little chance. Three minutes later Keohane was on target again with a little help from Rachubka. The keeper tried to keep a poor back pass in play but all he could do was divert the ball to Jamie Cureton who set up Keohane for an easy tap in.
Rachubka has now made 8 appearances in his two spells with Stanley.
Charlie Taylor - Inverness Caledonian Thistle (Rest of season)
Taylor was an unused substitute for Caley as they were beaten 3-0 at Motherwell.
Taylor has made just one substitute appearance since arriving at Inverness.
Ross Killock - Alfreton Town (loan ends March)
Killock was an unused substitute for Alfreton as they slipped nearer the relegation places with a 2-1 home defeat to Macclesfield.
The 18-year-old has made 19 appearances with18 starts since joining them in October.
Alex Cairns - Stalybridge Celtic - (Loan ends March)
Cairns completed another 90 minutes for Celtic as they drew 2-2 at Boston United. Celtic twice led but had to settle for a point and they remain in mid table.
The 20-year-old has played 32 times for Celtic this season, keeping 7 clean sheets.
Nathan Turner - Chester FC (Rest of season)
Nathan once again completed 90 minutes as Chester moved a step closer to promotion from the Blue Square Bet North Division.
Two early goals set them on their way to a 2-1 win at Corby and they are now 16 points clear at the top of the table.
Nathan has made 10 appearances since joining them in November and he has scored one goal.
Lewis Turner - Chester FC (Rest of season)
Lewis is still waiting for his debut for Chester and he was once again left out of the sixteen for the game.

Leeds Loan Watch - Heartache for Chester loan trio
Vital Leeds is once again looking at how our loan players are doing away from Elland Road this season.
Leeds have ten players out on loan. Steve Morison (Millwall), Ross Killock, Nathan and Lewis Turner (Chester) and Charlie Taylor (Fleetwood),Paul Green (Ipswich Town), Luke Varney (Blackburn Rovers), Gboly Ariyibi (Tranmere Rovers) Adam Drury (Bradford City) and Lee Peltier (Nottingham Forest) are all out on loan for the remainder of the season.
Steve Morison - Millwall (Season)
Morison came off the bench after just 16 minutes as Millwall secured a point with a last minute equaliser at Queens Park Rangers.
The point moves Millwall two points clear of the relegation places with just one game remaining.
Appearances 41 goals 8
Paul Green - Ipswich Town (Season)
Green played the 90 minutes for Ipswich on Saturday as they lost 1-0 at already promoted Burnley.
The defeat for Ipswich means they can no longer reach the play-offs.
Appearances 13 goals 1
Luke Varney - Blackburn Rovers (Season)
Varney was an unused substitute for Blackburn as they won 4-2 at Charlton Athletic.
The win leaves Blackburn with a very slim chance of reaching the play-offs.
Appearances 12 goals 0
Charlie Taylor - Fleetwood Town (Season)
Taylor was once again missing for Fleetwood with the ankle injury that has seen him miss the last four games.
Fleetwood will hope Taylor will be fit in time to return for the play-offs after their chances of finishing in the top three were ended with a 1-1 draw with Southend.
Southend, who are likely to face Fleetwood in the play-offs, hung on for a point with reported Leeds target Daniel Bentley having an inspired game in the Southend goal.
Appearances 38 goals 0
Lewis Turner - Chester (Season)
Lewis played the 90 minutes for Chester as he and Chester suffered heartache on the final day of the Skrill Conference Premier Division, as they went down on goal difference in a dramatic final few minutes in their game and the game at Aldershot.
Chester went into the final game of the season two points ahead of Hereford United who were in action at Aldershot whilst Chester hosted Salisbury.
Chester twice led against Salisbury but they conceded a second equaliser with just four minutes remaining.
Hereford scored a winner at Aldershot with just two minutes remaining as they leapfrogged Chester on goal difference.
Lewis made 44 appearances in all competitions at Chester and he earned rave reviews during his time there.
Appearances 44 goals 1
Nathan Turner - Chester (Season)
Nathan was once again missing for Chester through injury. He hasn`t played since the 2-0 defeat at Welling on March 29th and he made 26 appearances for Chester during his season long loan spell.
Appearances 26 goals 0
Ross Killock - Chester FC (Season)
Ross was once againy sidelined with the hamstring injury he picked up in the game at with Alfreton on Saturday March 15th.
The central defender made 18 appearances during his time with Chester.
Appearances 18 goals 2
Adam Drury - Bradford City (End of the season)
Drury played the 90 minutes for Bradford as they beat Crawley Town 2-1 at home. The win for Bradford lifted them above their opponents and into 13th place.
Appearances 11 Goals 0
Gboly Ariyibi - Tranmere Rovers (Season)
Ariyibi was once again nowhere to be seen amongst the Tranmere squad as their relegation worries increased with a 2-0 defeat at Leyton Orient.
Tranmere must now take at least a point from their last game of the season next weekend to stand any chance of staying up in League One.
Appearances 2 Goals 0
Lee Peltier - Nottingham Forest (Season)
Peltier played the 90 minutes for Forest as any remaining hopes they had of reaching the play-offs ended in a 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth.
Appearances 6 Goals 0

TO ELL AND BACK
Friday, 14th Nov 2014 17:33 by Tim Whelan
Leeds are hoping to offload a few players on loan by the end of the month, which should slightly ease our difficult financial situation.
Neil Redfearn has told the Yorkshire Post that several members of the squad have been asking if they can spend a bit of time elsewhere to get some first team football, and the good news is that we’ve even had a few enquiries from other clubs who are keen to take them off our hands. It’s a situation that’s come about with the rather large squad we’ve been carrying, with 38 senior players currently on the books, and we could with getting the number down to a more manageable size.
Redfearn said “I have had a conversation with a couple of them and they have done things right and asked in the right way and kept up their standard in training, so it is not a problem. At some point, we have got to address it. Some of these boys really need to go and play some games. We have arranged a couple of behind-closed-doors games which they have played in, so they have minutes under their belts. But actually playing on a Saturday afternoon when there’s three points at stake and a crowd, that is the sort of experience they need at this point. We are mindful of it and are trying to get ourselves in a position where maybe one or two do go out.â€
Since Cellino took over as president players have been coming in faster than he has managed to ship them out, even though he did managed to get one or two of the highest earners off the books during the summer. While he has been busy recruiting those who he liked the look of in European football, it hasn’t been so easy get rid of those already at the club who are sitting on contracts that are unlikely to be matched elsewhere. Cellino was also keen to stockpile players during the last transfer window, as we may be hit with a transfer embargo under the new Football League rules in January, once the annual accounts for 2013/14 are released. Sending players on loan could be the ideal solution, as they can always be recalled if we were to run into an injury crisis.
Redfearn hasn’t named any names, but those out of favour include Nicky Ajose, an early Cellino signing who already seems to be a forgotten man, as well as several who came to the club during the McDermott and Warnock eras. Presumably they include the much derided Noel Hunt and David Norris, who has been restricted to one League Cup appearance in the last 18 months. And even Luke Murphy could be tempted to try his luck elsewhere, having been in the dog house since his reckless dismissal at Bradford was the main reason we lost that particular cup tie.
Given the complicated financial situation that Cellino inherited from GFH, which is still throwing up nasty surprises, he could do with trimming the squad. We already had one of the highest wage bills in the Championship when he took over, and it can only have grown as the numbers of players has increased. If we do manage to send one or two players on loan it’s by no means certain that the other club will agree to pick up their full salary (with Hunt and Murphy said to be on very generous terms by Championship standards, to name but two) but any contributions will be gratefully received.
Any outgoing loans will have to be agreed by the end of November 27, which is the end of the Football League’s current emergency loan window, but let’s hope they can shift at least some of the dead wood out of the club, and that any agreements can then be extended until the end of the season. Then we might just have enough funds for Cellino to bring in a few more signings in January (Football League permitting) and Redfearn will have the opportunity to give the best of the youngsters some valuable first team experience.

LUFC Leeds United Loan Watch - December 6th
Vital Leeds United keeps you up to date with how the loan players are doing away from Elland Road.
It was a quiet weekend with only one of the three players out on loan actually in action.
Nicky Ajose - Crewe Alexandra until January 5th
Crewe were without a game on Saturday with FA Cup took precedent over league games. Crewe have already bowed out of this season`s competition having lost a first round replay at Sheffield United.
Appearances 1 Goals 0
Noel Hunt - Ipswich Tow until January 3rd with a view to a permanent deal
Hunt was unable to feature on Saturday as Ipswich played against parent club Leeds United.
Appearances 1 Goals 1
Scott Wootton - Rotherham United Until January 10th
Wootton completed another 90 minutes for Rotherham on Saturday as they claimed a credible 0-0 draw at Cardiff City.
Our colleagues over at Vital Rotherham, who travelled to Cardiff yesterday, give us their views.
Herringthorpe
Scott did very well yesterday. When you are stopping former Premiership players crossing balls then you know you are having a good game. He got forward a lot more too.
Asked various people on the coach and they all said the same - played well, had a good solid game.
The Gaffer was contemplating moving him across but he made the decision to leave him at right-back where, Steve Evans says, 'he had an outstanding performance.`
Zipadeedoodah
Defence as a unit outstanding.....Kenwynne Jones and Adam Le Fondre on the team sheet would worry any defence, but not ours yesterday.
Morgan won everything against Jones and Arni reduced the threat of Alfie to a mere whimper.
Both full backs stood firm and as Herringthorpe says, limited the wide men throughout.
A couple of occasions in the second half when Scott Wootton strayed forward, we were caught in possession, but there was reliable back up to cover him till he re-positioned himself.
Appearances 2 Clean sheets 1 Goals conceded 1 Goals 0

LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - Saturday January 31st
Vital Leeds United keeps you up to date with how the loan players are doing away from Elland Road.
We currently have two players out on loan from Elland Road.
Nicky Ajose - Crewe Alexandra - End of the season
It was a bad day for Ajose and his previously inform Crewe side as MK Dons hammered them 5-0 at home.
Ajose completed the 90 minutes as they slipped to only their third defeat in nine games since his arrival in November.
Despite the loss, they remain one place outside of the relegation places and they face crucial games against Colchester United and Yeovil Town in their next two games with both sides currently in the bottom four.
Appearances 9 Goals 5
Ross Killock - FC Halifax Town - End of the season
It continues to be a frustrating time for Ross Killock who joined Halifax on loan at the start of the transfer window.
Starting in midweek, Killock was an unused substitute as Halifax won 1-0 at AFC Telford.
On Saturday, Halifax saw their home game with league leaders Barnet postponed due to the state of the pitch.
Killock will hope to be involved on Tuesday night when Halifax play Dartford at the Shay in their FA Trophy replay.

Leeds United and the loan arranger
â– Championshipâ– Leeds Unitedâ– Newsâ– Opinion
by Graham Smeaton - Apr 12, 2015
0 2320
Well, it’s safe to say that this season has been yet another where Leeds fans have nothing to look forward to other than mid-table mediocrity when the end of the season is in sight. Four games to go and Leeds United are in 15th place and in that ‘limbo state’, nothing to play for and nothing to be gained or lost. That’s not my gripe, that’s been done enough this season. What I would like to do is look at the Leeds United arranged loans and whether they’ve been of much cop. Much was made of the players coming in, unfortunately their contributions have been somewhat differing.
Dario del Fabro (20 years old) – extensive game time for the U21 and two goals scored but only 90 minutes in Leeds’ first team in the FA Cup 3rd round loss to Sunderland. Looked composed that day, does so at U21 level. Been on the bench for the first team but unused substitute. Verdict: definitely worth a look at in the final four games of the season.
Brian Montenegro (21 years old) – again another player with extensive playing time in the U21 Development squad and with scant first team playing time, only four minutes in two games. Has scored nine goals in the U21s and did win a place on the bench for the 2-1 loss to Cardiff but was an unused substitute. Verdict: another one definitely worth a look at with some first team game time in the next four games. Brings pace and goals, something we lack.
Adryan Tavares (20 years old) – came with a massive reputation and with much hype. Soon created a buzz around the place but hasn’t really been given much of a chance despite having the respect of Neil Redfearn. He has played 729 minutes of Championship football and his two assists ties him with Alex Mowatt as the one of the highest goal assist provider in the team. Brings pace to the team and trickery but criticised for lack of physical presence. Verdict: would love to see him get a run-in, even as a ‘goodbye Leeds’ present, but unlikely to happen. Cellino thought to be unwilling to pay the €3.2m signing fee. This could well be a ‘bite your backside’ moment as Adryan becomes the next big thing…maybe.
Edgar Çani (25 years old) – the big Albanian came on loan from Serie B Italian side Catania where he played 15 games, scoring three goals and laying on 4 assists. Another player not being given a chance in the first team (four appearances – 52 minutes). Obviously brought in to compete for the ‘big target man’ place in Leeds’ newly-instigated 4-2-3-1 formation, fans have said that he hasn’t got the best first touch and has pedestrian pace. Verdict: Unlikely to be given a chance – doesn’t seem to be what Leeds are looking for.
Granddi N’Goyi (26 years old) – Frenchman N’Goyi, an ex-PSG ‘starlet’ came in from Palermo in the same loan deal that brought Sol Bamba on loan to the club. In true Leeds style, we took him without a medical and he signed on injured. Back to match fitness now and has had 80 or so minutes in an U21 game, has made the bench for the last two games without getting any game time. Verdict: might be worth a look to see if he offers anything in that defensive midfield role now that Lewis Cook is injured and Rodolph Austin is still banned.
Zan Benedicic (19 years old) – the AC Milan youngster signed straight from the Milan Youth team and saw very limited time before injury ruled him out for the season; he has 13 minutes of action in the Championship and a 25 minute appearance in the League Cup to his name in Leeds’ colours. Verdict: unlikely to be fit enough to feature again for Leeds.
Sol Bamba (30 years old) – arrived from Palermo and went straight into the starting eleven. His early performances earned him rave reviews from Leeds fans who quickly appreciated his rock-like presence at the back. Has been an ever-present since signing and is the preferred captain when club captain Liam Cooper is not picked in the starting line-up. Has scored one goal for Leeds with a header in their last win, a 3-0 victory against Fulham. Verdict : definitely a success in the white of Leeds. There is a ‘buying option’ that Leeds can take up at the end of the season, they’d be stupid not to. His performances have put him in the shop window; Leeds buy or someone else will.
Loan-wise, Leeds haven’t really used the loan options that they’ve had so far so a lot of those brought in can’t really be commented on. In a way, it’s been a wasted opportunity for us, aside from them making the U21 stronger. It would have been nice to see the loan players used in a limited way as substitutes, even in fleetingly sparse moments, to get a better feel of their capabilities. The thing is, that’s not how we do things up LS11 way.

Erwin was an unused substitute for Oldham in their two games in the past week against Peterborough United and Bradford City.

Botaka is now on his way back to Charlton Athletic after DR Congo lost in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Cup.
He made one substitute appearance in their three group games as they topped their group.

Leeds United’s loan quintet enjoying mixed fortunes
Phil Hay
Published: 06:00 Wednesday 04 October 2017
Marcus Antonsson
Marcus Antonsson
IF ANY of the five players released on loan by Leeds United were disappointed to find themselves out on a limb, the purpose of moving elsewhere cannot have been lost on them.
Some of those sent out during the summer window know their time at Elland Road is probably up, while others are young enough to understand that first-team football will do them good but lower league clubs have profited from temporary transfers out of Elland Road.
I haven’t been happy with my performances. I’ve been looking for my confidence in games and in training. It was a while ago that I played competitive games but I still feel I’ve got so much more to give.
Leeds United’s Marcus Antonsson - on loan at Blackburn
Marcus Antonsson, Leeds’ Swedish striker, is one player whose prospects at United are less than hopeful but the finishing which earned him a move to Elland Road last year has shown itself at Blackburn Rovers. Three goals in eight league appearances have helped keep Blackburn in League One’s play-off positions during the first two months of this season.
United sent Antonsson on a season-long loan to Ewood Park in early August, before the chains of deals which saw Chris Wood join Burnley for £15m and Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Pawel Cibicki and Jay-Roy Grot arrive in his stead. There were opportunities for Antonsson in pre-season but a wasteful appearance in a friendly at North Ferriby United in July all but drew a line through his name.
Antonsson, who has been field as both a striker and a winger by Tony Mowbray, opened his account for Blackburn in a 3-0 win over Rochdale, his fourth appearance for Rovers. “I really needed that,†he said afterwards. “It was a big relief to slide on my knees in front of the fans.
“I haven’t been happy with my performances. I’ve been looking for my confidence in games and in training. It was a while ago that I played competitive games but I still feel I’ve got so much more to give.â€
Over on the west coast of Lancashire, Fleetwood Town have not been demanding much more from Lewie Coyle. The talented right-back has been ever present under former Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler, collecting a streak of man-of-the-match awards decided by supporters’ votes.
Coyle, 21, was on the cusp of breaking through at Leeds when Rosler was briefly in charge at Elland Road and United see him as a future first-team right-back. He signed a new three-year contract before leaving on loan and will spend the whole of this campaign with Fleetwood, one of last season’s beaten semi-finalists.
Notable blips came in home defeats to Southend United and Charlton Athletic, matches in which Fleetwood conceded seven goals, but Rosler’s side are three points short of sixth place in League One with a game in hand over every club bar Blackburn.
Elsewhere, Mallik Wilks has contributed to Accrington Stanley’s early push for promotion from League Two, making what he described as a “dream start†to his half-season loan.
The 18-year-old scored on his debut in a 2-2 draw against Notts County and came off the bench to claim the decisive goal in a 2-1 win at Chesterfield, earning him the tag of “super subâ€.
“I’m happy to help the side in whatever role the gaffer wants me to but it would be nice to show what I can do from the start,†Wilks said. The forward duly started and scored again as Accrington beat Middlesbrough’s Under-23s in the Checkatrade Trophy last month. Accrington are third in League Two, far above Port Vale where Leeds’ left-back Tyler Denton has experienced harder times. Denton has been a regular for Vale, playing eight times, but Michael Brown was sacked as manager two weeks ago and Vale are joint bottom of the division with five points.
Denton’s first taste of a full year at senior level looks set to result in a relegation fight and a scrap to keep Vale in the EFL. Luke Murphy, on loan at Burton Albion, was well warned of a tough season ahead after taking up another chance to work with Nigel Clough and a club who are trying to exceed the sum of their individual parts in the Championship for a second time.
Burton have given Murphy a run of games, something Leeds have been unwilling to offer him for some time, but while the midfielder avoided Albion’s savage 5-0 defeat at Elland Road last month, their two games before the international break ended in 4-0 defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa.

WHITES LOAN REPORT
WHITES LOAN REPORT
We take a look at the Leeds United players out on loan who have been in action over the weekend, with Marcus Antonsson, Lewie Coyle, Tyler Denton and Luke Murphy all featuring.
Marcus Antonsson
The striker played 57 minutes for Blackburn Rovers in their Emirates FA Cup Second Round home draw with Crewe Alexandra at Ewood Park. Rovers raced into a 3-0 lead, inside 20 minutes thanks to a brace from Dominic Samuel and a Danny Graham effort. The home side were however reduced to nine men, when Rekeem Harper and Elliott Bennett were shown red cards and the Sky Bet League Two outfit Crewe came back to draw.
Lewie Coyle
Coyle played 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Highbury Stadium by seventh tier Hereford in the Emirates FA Cup Second Round. The visitors took a 23rd minute lead through Calvin Dinsley, but Fleetwood hit back when Devante Cole finished a fine cross from Coyle six minutes later, to set up a replay.
Tyler Denton
Full-back Denton was introduced at half time of Port Vale’s 1-1 draw with Yeovil Town at Vale Park in the Emirates FA Cup Second Round. He had a big impact from the bench, providing the cross for Tom Pope’s opener. However Vale face a replay to reach the Third Round, after a last minute equaliser from Yeovil's Jordan Green.
Luke Murphy
Midfielder Murphy played 90 minutes for Burton Albion in their Sky Bet Championship away defeat at Derby County. Jonny Russell’s effort nine minutes from time, means Burton have now failed to win in their past four matches and now sit at the bottom of the division.

WHITES LOAN REPORT 11/12/17
We take a look at the Leeds United players out on loan with Mallik Wilks on the scoresheet for Accrington Stanley and Marcus Antonsson picking up awards at Blackburn Rovers...
Marcus Antonsson
The striker helped Blackburn Rovers notch up a fifth straight Sky Bet League One victory on Saturday, with a 3-2 away victory at Peterborough United. Rovers came from behind to win at London Road and Antonsson provided an assist for the third goal, as Bradley Dack finished off a fine counter attack. Blackburn now sit in third place, just one point behind second placed Shrewsbury Town. Antonsson also picked up a personal accolade last week, after being crowned the League One PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November.
Lewie Coyle
The full-back was rested for Fleetwood Town’s 2-0 win over Sky Bet League Two side Chesterfield last Tuesday in the Checkatrade Trophy, but returned to the starting line-up for Saturday’s trip to Sky Bet League One leaders Wigan Athletic. Coyle played 90 minutes for the Cod Army, but couldn’t prevent the Latics from recording a 2-0 victory at the DW Stadium.
Tyler Denton
Denton played 90 minutes last Tuesday as Port Vale exited the Checkatrade Trophy after suffering a 2-1 home defeat at Vale Park. Christian Montano gave Vale an early lead and Denton had a hand in the goal, as his long ball forward was picked up by Marcus Harness who assisted the goal, but Shrewsbury fought back for the win with two second half goals. Denton was an unused substitute in Vale’s 2-0 victory over Cambridge United in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday, also at Vale Park.
Luke Murphy
Luke Murphy played 72 minutes against Preston North End for Burton Albion in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday, but couldn’t prevent Nigel Clough’s side from losing 2-1 at the Pirelli Stadium. The Brewers are two points from safety at the bottom of the division.
Mallik Wilks
Striker Mallik Wilks netted the opening goal for Accrington Stanley last Tuesday, with a lovely strike from 25 yards, which found the bottom left corner in the Checkatrade Trophy. The 18-year-old's third goal on his loan spell unfortunately wasn't enough for Stanley, who went down 3-2 to Lincoln City at Sincil Bank, as the Imps fought back to record victory. Accrington’s Sky Bet League Two fixture with Swindon Town on Saturday, due to take place at the Wham Stadium was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions which hit the UK over the weekend.

Leeds United: Returning loanees add to cull dilemma
Phil Hay
Published: 06:00 Friday 11 May 2018
The uncertainty about the forthcoming cull of players at Leeds United does not only concern those who Paul Heckingbottom has seen at close hand. Beyond the immediate squad are the returning loanees and the forgotten faces who will learn before long whether their faces now fit.
Heckingbottom spent three months analysing the squad he inherited at Elland Road, discovering that the reports of Leeds’ deficiencies were not exaggerated, but there are some who he had no chance to assess: Lewie Coyle at Fleetwood Town, Luke Murphy at Burton Albion, Marcus Antonsson at Blackburn Rovers, Mateusz Klich at Utrecht and Yosuke Ideguchi at Cultural Leonesa.
The fate of Leeds’ more prominent loanees is another subject of debate as the transfer window prepares to open.
Ideguchi is safe, a few months on from his £500,000 move from Gamba Osaka. His loan to Leonesa and Spain’s second division, a move intended to keep him fit and in vogue for Japan’s appearance at the World Cup next month, has done nothing of the sort and Ideguchi last played in February, but Leeds always planned for Ideguchi to ease himself into the Championship next season. At 21, an unfulfilling spell in northern Spain will not count against him.
In the case of Coyle, Leeds’ former development-squad captain, a year with Fleetwood has left him in credit. The club failed to repeat last season’s run to the League One play-offs and Uwe Rosler, the coach who signed him from Leeds, was sacked after Christmas, but Coyle left Fleetwood last weekend with the players’ player-of-the-year award and a supporters’ player-of-the-year award. John Sheridan, Fleetwood’s current manager, said Coyle had been the outstanding player in his short time in charge.
“If I was going to pick a best player while I’ve been here then I’d pick him, just for the way he plays, goes about his job and the way he works,†Sheridan said. “He’s only a young lad but I think a lot of players could look at him and think, ‘I need to be like him’.â€
Lewie Coyle.
Coyle was sent out of Elland Road last July with that purpose: to prove himself over a full season and to gain the experience of a full season. Having played 23 times for Leeds since 2015, this campaign added 48 first-team appearances to his record and he is part of a three-way fight for the right-back role at United, led by Luke Ayling with Coyle and Gaetano Berardi behind him.
League One was an equally fertile environment for Antonsson, the Swedish striker who Leeds signed from Kalmar in 2016. Antonsson’s first season at Elland Road was bit-part and, having reached the age of 27, he does not have Coyle’s time on his side. When Leeds sent him to Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan, he was comprehensively surplus to requirement and Blackburn’s deal is believed to have included the option of a permanent move.
Antonsson, though, played 34 times and scored nine goals, contributing to the club’s promotion back to the Championship. His prospects at Leeds are unlikely to improve drastically and he has only 12 months left on this contract, but United were open last summer to the possibility that an improvement during his time with Blackburn might earn him a second chance. As of a fortnight ago, Antonsson was unclear about his future.
“I really don’t know,†he said. “I only know that I have one year left for the deal with Leeds.â€
Burton Albion's Luke Murphy (right) battles with Sunderland's Ashley Fletcher.
In Antonsson’s favour is the fact that Leeds were tepid up front this season. The signing of a centre forward is a key priority in this summer’s transfer window.
But where Klich and Murphy are concerned, United already have a surplus of players in the centre of midfield.
Murphy was relegated from the Championship with Burton last weekend, the end of his second spell on loan at the Pirelli Stadium.
He has been extraneous at Leeds for two seasons but, owing to a long deal signed while Massimo Cellino was owner, is contracted to Elland Road until 2019. Despite multiple previous chances, Burton manager Nigel Clough promised to fight Murphy’s corner with Heckingbottom.
Blackburn Rovers' Marcus Antonsson (right) and team mates celebrate getting promoted.
“I’m going to put a call in to Paul just to make sure he’s aware of how well he’s done for us,†Clough said.
“I think Luke will get a chance at Leeds next season. I hope he does because he’s good enough.â€
Of more interest to Heckingbottom might be Klich, the Poland international who was blackballed by former Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen in the early stages of this season.
A £1.5m signing from FC Twente 11 months ago, Klich recently revealed how Christiansen stopped communicating with him after his error led to a goal in the 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City in September. Klich did not start another league game and was sent to Utrecht in January.
Back on familiar ground in Holland, the midfielder has thrived, looking more like the rangy, creative player who Leeds believed they were signing. He left no doubt that he would fight on at Elland Road after his loan ends this weekend.
“I spoke with them, they want me back,†he told Dutch newspaper AD. “I still have two years on my contract. I have unfinished business there.â€

Oriel Rey likevel i klubben:
Leeds United player leaves on loan, no announcement yet, snapped in new club’s shirt
Sport Witness Team27th August 2018
Oriol Rey won’t be a Leeds United player for the coming season, and he’s already training with another club.
After several claims from Spain that Rey was on the verge of signing for Conquense, and that a move was considered a sure thing, it’s now reported that he’s already had his first training session with the Spanish club.
Despite the lack of an official announcement from Leeds United, Rey has been pictured in his new club’s shirt following training and spoke to the local media.
El Deporte Conquense quote the youngster as saying he wants to “add minutes and find a good place, here they supported me a lot and gave me a good opportunity and I have not thought twice about it.â€
The move is reported to be a loan, which gives the transfer more sense.
Leeds United extended the former Barcelona youngster’s contract just a few months ago, and when they announced that deal it was made clear how highly Rey is thought of at Elland Road.
Rey has moved for minutes, but knows he’ll have to work to get them: “I try to give the best of myself in each training session, then it is the coach who decides and we’ll see.â€

Noen i England, noen utenlands.

Leeds United loan watch as Mallik Wilks proves the hero of the weekend once again
Samuel Saiz failed to appear for Getafe again in this week's Whites loan watch

Samuel Saiz failed to appear for Getafe again in this week's Whites loan watch
Mallik Wilks was the star of Leeds United’s loan legion at the weekend after the youngster grabbed a crucial goal in Doncaster Rovers’ 3-1 win over Walsall.
Wilks was the key man for Grant McCann’s side and showed great composure to double their lead in just the fourth minute.
Elsewhere, it was a good weekend for Lewie Coyle and Conor Shaughnessy.
Here’s a summary of the Whites’ players in action.
Mallik Wilks - Doncaster Rovers
Wilks scored the second goal in a 3-1 win over Walsall at Keepmoat Stadium. He was given man of the match by Doncaster Free Press, who scored him with a nine out of 10. “Won the penalty, scored a delightful goal and caused problems all afternoon with his direct running and trickery,†they said.
Lewie Coyle - Fleetwood Town

Coyle was a key performer as Fleetwood claimed all three points and a clean sheet in a 1-0 win away at Accrington Stanley. Scored an eight with Fleetwood Weekly News in his familiar position of right-back.
Samuel Saiz - Getafe
The Spaniard was once again left out of the matchday squad as Getafe lost 2-0 at home to Leganes.
Hadi Sacko - Ankaragücü
Turkish side were once again not in action this weekend. They next take to the field against Fenerbache on April 7.
Pawel Cibicki - Elfsborg

Sam Dalby - Morecambe
Dalby was left out of the matchday squad as Morecambe secured a priceless win over Crawley Town in their bid to avoid the drop. The youngster has struggled for minutes at the Globe Arena since moving on loan in January.
Tom Pearce - Scunthorpe United
The young defender operated at left-back on Saturday, but that couldn’t prevent Scunthorpe losing 2-1 to AFC Wimbledon. Scored a five in the Grimsby Telegraph, who wrote: “Shaky performance from the Leeds loanee. Was caught out defensively on a few occasions, needs to be stronger and impose himself. Crosses into the box were poor.â€
Conor Shaughnessy - Heart of Midlothian
The young defender got 90 minutes under his belt at centre-back for Hearts as they beat Aberdeen 2-1 on Saturday.
Vurnon Anita - Willem II
Anita was another man to play the full match as Willem II claimed a 3-2 win over Fortuna Sittard. Alexander Isak’s hat-trick secured the points for the Dutch side as they moved to eighth.
Jay-Roy Grot - VVV-Venlo
Grot was a half-time substitute for VVV, but couldn’t prevent them from throwing away a one-goal lead to draw 1-1 away at NAC Breda.

Laurens De Bock - KV Oostende
De Bock came off the bench for 10-man Oostende as they lost 2-1 to AS Eupen in the first of their Europa League play-off games.
Ouasim Bouy - PEC Zwolle
There was no sign of Bouy in the PEC Zwolle squad as they beat FC Emmen 3-0 at home.
Tyler Denton - Peterborough United
Peterborough weren’t in action this weekend with the Checkatrade Trophy taking centre stage. They host Gillingham next weekend on April 6.
Paudie O’Connor - Bradford City
O’Connor made his long-awaited return to the Bradford side, making his first appearance since going off at half-time at Barnsley in a 3-0 defeat on January 12. It was little help, however, as the Bantams lost 1-0 away at play-off chasers Charlton Athletic.

Caleb Ekuban - Trabzonspor
The Turkish side are next in action on April 5, when they travel to Antalyaspor.
Liam Kitching - Harrogate Town
The 19-year-old defender wasn’t involved as Harrogate drew 2-2 with Maidstone United at home. After leading 1-0, James Muldoon’s 63rd-minute penalty eventually secured a point for the hosts.
Alex Machuca - Burgos CF
Machuca failed to emerge from the substitutes’ bench as Burgos lost 2-1 at home to Real Madrid II.
Oriol Rey - Conquense
Rey was once again in the starting XI for Conquense, but couldn’t steer the game his side’s way as they drew 0-0 with Cornella.

Leeds United loan star Jay-Roy Grot and Oriol Rey took the pressure off Malik Willks this weekend with both players finding themselves on the scoresheet for their respective clubs.
Grot came off the bench to grab an all-important equaliser for VVV-Venlo, who drew with 1-1 with Fortuna Sittard, while Oriol Rey grabbed the final goal in a 3-0 win for Conquense over Valencia II.
Elsewhere, Lewie Coyle’s side, Fleetwood Town, were in the headlines as manager Joey Barton landed himself in hot water.
Here’s a summary of the Whites players in action.

Mallik Wilks - Doncaster Rovers
Wilks started as the central striker for Doncaster in their 2-0 over Plymouth Argyle, in the absence of top-scorer John Marquis. The forward scored an eight with the Doncaster Free Press, who said: “Showed plenty of maturity to fill in for John Marquis in the central striking role. Held it up well and used his physicality to good effect.â€
Jay-Roy Grot - VVV-Venlo
Grot played the role of super sub this weekend and made an instant impact. The forward came off the bench to rescue a point for VVV-Venlo, scoring the equaliser in the 81st-minute in a 1-1 draw with Fortuna Sittard.
Oriol Rey – Conquense

Rey was once again in the starting XI for Conquense and got himself on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win. The midfielder added some gloss to the scoreline against Valencia II in the 90th minute.
Caleb Ekuban – Trabzonspor
Ekuban was in the starting line-up once again, this time down the middle, as Trabzonspor defeated Bursaspor 1-0 away on Friday night. Former West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho (remember him?) lined up for the hosts, but couldn’t find a route to goal.
Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town
Fleetwood hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons after manager Barton allegedly assaulted Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel after their 4-2 defeat at Oakwell. On the field, it was a tough afternoon for Coyle and co, with the Leeds loanee again used in the centre of midfield.
Samuel Saiz – Getafe

Saiz was once again missing from Getafe’s matchday squad as they drew 2-2 with Real Valladolid. It’s been a tough few months for the Spaniard, who is struggling for game time at his new club.
Hadi Sacko – Ankaragücü
The Turkish side were once again winners on Sunday as they defeated Kayserispor 2-0. Sacko played the full 90 minutes as his side ran out victorious away from home.
Pawel Cibicki – Elfsborg
Cibicki scored the third goal for Elfsborg in their 3-1 home win over GIF Sundsvall in Allsvenskan.
Sam Dalby – Morecambe
Dalby was left out of the matchday squad once again as Morecambe drew 1-1 at home with Grimsby Town. The youngster has struggled for minutes at the Globe Arena since moving on loan in January.

Tom Pearce – Scunthorpe United
The young full-back missed Scunthorpe’s 3-0 home defeat to Burton Albion through injury. Pearce was a slight injury concern before the game after coming off against Shrewsbury Town the week prior and was unable to shake off that knock for this match.
Conor Shaughnessy - Heart of Midlothian
Shaughnessy was again on the bench this week as Hearts returned to winning ways against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Former Sheffield Wednesday youngster Sean Clare was on the scoresheet for Craig Levein’s side.
Vurnon Anita - Willem II
After starting in Willem II’s previous two matches, Anita was left on the bench for their game against PEC Zwolle in the Leeds United derby, which included Ouasim Bouy playing for the opposition. Anita came on very late in the match.
Yosuke Ideguchi – Greuther Furth
The Japanese midfielder returned to the Greuther Furth squad after injury, but was an unused substitute as they lost 3-2 away to Bochum in 2. Bundesliga.
Laurens De Bock - KV Oostende
De Bock was back in the starting line-up for Oostende, but couldn’t prevent them losing 1-0 to Sint-Truiden in their third Europa League play-off game.
Ouasim Bouy - PEC Zwolle
Bouy was thrown on long before Anita in this match with Willem II. Bouy came on in the 43rd minute for injured Thomas Lam.

Tyler Denton - Peterborough United
Peterborough were once again in winning form as they beat Blackpool 1-0 at Bloomfield Road. Denton missed the match and with no reports of an injury, it appears the Leeds loanee was left out of Darren Ferguson’s matchday squad.
Paudie O’Connor - Bradford City
It was a brutal weekend for O’Connor as Bradford City suffered another defeat. The Bantams looked to have secured a point away at Bristol Rovers with a 90th-minute equaliser, only to lose the game 3-2 three minutes later. Heartbreak for Gary Bowyer’s side, who look set to go be playing in League Two next season.

Brentford vs Leeds United preview
Leeds United’s EFL loan stars took centre stage on Good Friday with their continental contingent not in action until the weekend.
League One stars Mallik Wilks, Lewis Coyle, Tom Pearce and Tyler Denton all got minutes under their belts as the season comes to a dramatic close.
It was a ding-dong battle between Coyle and Denton as Peterborough travelled to Fleetwood Town.
Here’s a summary of the Whites’ players in action
Mallik Wilks - Doncaster Rovers
It was a tough afternoon for Wilks and Donny, who lost 2-0 away at Sunderland. The Leeds loanee endured an ineffective afternoon on Wearside and was unable to turn the game his sides’ way.
Lewis Coyle – Fleetwood Town
Coyle got another start(Image: Tim Easthope)
Fleetwood grabbed a 94th-minute equaliser to dent Peterborough’s top-six hopes on Friday. Coyle was again on the right of a back three, yet again illustrating his versatility.
He scored a seven with the Fleetwood Weekly News, who said: “Out of position at right centre-half. A bit nervy in the first half, could have done better with some of his clearances but gave his all and looked more comfortable at right-back.â€
Tyler Denton - Peterborough United
It was Denton vs Coyle on Friday as Posh drew 1-1 with Fleetwood. The young defender came on as an 80th-minute substitute but was unable to prevent the 94th-minute leveller.
Samuel Saiz – Getafe
Saiz will be hoping to finally feature for Getafe when they host Sevilla on Sunday (1pm).

Jay-Roy Grot - VVV-Venlo

Caleb Ekuban – Trabzonspor
Ekuban's Trabzonspor saw off Yeni Malatysaspor 2-1 on Saturday, with the Leeds loanee subbed off in injury time.
Laurens De Bock - KV Oostende
The left-back was not involved as Oostende drew 0-0 with Westerlo in their third Europa League play-off game on Saturday evening.
Ouasim Bouy - PEC Zwolle
Bouy was an unused sub during PEC Zwolle's goalless draw with Vitesse Arnhem.
Paudie O’Connor - Bradford City
Bradford were relegated to League Two on Friday after a 2-0 defeat against play-off chasing Coventry City. O’Connor started on the right of a back three, which soon became a back four after Nathaniel Knight-Percival was sent off in the 44th minute.

Lewie Coyle, venstre back, 23 år (1995). Snart 24.
Tyler Denton, venstre back, 23 år (1995).
Jay-Roy Grot, angriper, 21 år (1998), Grot skrev under 4-års kontrakt i '17.
Kontrakt utgår i '20. Frigis i sommer.
Will Huffer, keeper, 20 år (1998).

WATCH MARCELO BIELSA'S FULL PRESS CONFERENCE FOLLOWING THE PLAY-OFF SEMI-FINAL DEFEAT TO DERBY COUNTY
Leeds United’s loan stars have proved to be a mixed bag this season, with some starring for their adopted clubs, whilst others struggled for game time.
The Whites’ first-team saw their season come to a crashing end against Derby County, whilst the campaigns of most of their loanees have also come to a close.
For some youngsters, this has been a chance to earn their stripes in the English Football League, whilst other senior forgotten men have reignited their career in different corners of the globe.
For others, game time has been harder to come by.
Here’s a full breakdown of the Leeds United's loan legion’s seasons in full.
Mallik Wilks - Doncaster Rovers
Mallik Wilks and Jordan Storey compete for the ball during the FA Cup Third Round match between Preston North End and Doncaster Rovers at Deepdale on January 06, 2019
Wilks netted 16 goals for Rovers(Image: Nathan Stirk/Getty Images)
Like his Leeds United team-mates in the first-team, Wilks' campaign ended with play-off heartbreak, as Doncaster lost on penalties to Lee Bowyer's Charlton side in the League One semi-finals.
But Wilks had a positive campaign, playing a vital role in their sixth-placed finish.
The 20-year-old forward ended the campaign with 16 goals and eight assists in all competitions, making 46 appearances in total. The winger’s eye-catching brace away at Bristol Rovers in December will live long in the memory of many Rovers’ fans.
The winger’s direct approach to facing up his fullback has been lauded by many. Whether he could play a role for Marcelo Bielsa next season, remains to be seen.
Caleb Ekuban – Trabzonspor
Caleb Ekuban has been popular in Turkey(Image: Getty Images)
Injuries have blighted Ekuban’s season, although the forward still managed eight goals and two assists in just 19 starts for the Turkish outfit.
Interestingly, more of the attackers’ goals came as a substitute than from the start of matches, which is probably why he made more appearances (15) off the bench than from the beginning of games, in the league.
Trabzonspor ended the season in fourth, which still wasn’t enough for them to reach Europe. Only the first two places in Turkey secure European football, with Galatasaray and Istanbul Baseaksehir taking those spots.
All signs point to the Super Lig side activating the clause in their deal which will make the deal permanent for £2.5million.
Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town
Lewie Coyle has completed two season at Fleetwood(Image: Pete Norton/Getty Images)
Coyle has been a constant in Joey Barton’s side this season, operating in a number of roles for Fleetwood. The versatile defender made 41 League One appearances this term, as they finished 11th in the table.
That made it two strong campaigns in a row on the Fylde coast for Coyle, who has notched up more than 90 appearances in his two spells there.
Whilst Bielsa loves a man that can operate in several positions, Coyle is yet to really prove his quality at Championship level, which may be his aim next campaign.
Samuel Saiz – Getafe
Samuel Saiz has struggled for minutes back in Spain(Image: Juan Manuel Serrano Arce/Getty Images)
It’s fair to say Saiz hasn’t enjoyed the best of times since returning to Spain. The Spaniard has only made two starts for Getafe since his January switch from Leeds. His seven substitute appearances have wielded one goal, which came in their recent defeat to Real Sociedad, and no assists, underlining his bit-part in the side.
Getafe themselves have had a terrific season and headed into the final match of the La Liga season with a real chance of securing Champions League football, but fell two points short on Saturday evening.
Hadi Sacko – Ankaragücü
Hadi Sacko has had two loan moves this season(Image: @Ankaragucu / Twitter)
Another of Leeds’ Turkish loan contingent, Sacko has enjoyed a mixed season away from Elland Road.
The pacey winger has enjoyed a decent run in the team of late and has started 12 games since his January move. In that time, he has managed two goals and one assist, a return that will remind supporters why he was shipped out in the first place.
With two games left, Ankaragücü could still find themselves relegated. They sit 14th in the 18-team league, four points above the dotted line, with three sides set to go down.
This came after he spent the first half of the season at Las Palmas, but struggled for playing time.
Pawel Cibicki – Elfsborg
Pawel Cibicki is another to have had two separate loan moves(Image: Plumb Images/Leicester City FC via Getty Images)
Elfsborg’s season restarted in March, with nine matches played. Cibicki’s side sit seventh in the table, but only two points behind league-leaders Malmo.
The forward has enjoyed a fruitful start to the campaign, registering four goals in the opening nine matches, which is a superb return.
He spent the first half of the season at Molde, turning in 13 times and scoring three goals.
Sam Dalby – Morecambe
Dalby made just two substitute appearances following his January loan move to Morecambe.
The 19-year-old forward will be hoping to either show what he can do in the under-23s or for a more successful switch next campaign as he bids to get more minutes under his belt.
Tom Pearce – Scunthorpe United
Pearce was loaned out in January(Image: David Haber)
It was a season to forget for Scunthorpe who were relegated from League One despite reaching the play-offs only a year ago.
For Pearce, this was very much a learning curve as the Iron dropped into the fourth tier. The young fullback made nine appearances after joining on deadline day in January and found the net once.
This experience will no doubt stand the youngsters in good stead for the future, but whether his performances for a lowly relegated side will earn him a spot in Bielsa’s squad next season remains to be seen.
Conor Shaughnessy - Heart of Midlothian
Shaughnessy moved north of the border(Image: Getty Images)
It’s been another example of a Leeds loanee struggling for consistent minutes, in the case of Shaughnessy, who only started nine games for Hearts after arriving on loan in January.
The 22-year-old has often featured on the right side of their back three but has also featured at wing-back, such is his versatility.
It was a middle-of-the-road season for Craig Levein’s side, who finished sixth in the table, eight points behind third-placed Kilmarnock.
Vurnon Anita - Willem II
Vurnon Anita has not had a vintage campaign(Image: Stu Forster/Getty Images)
Another of Leeds’ forgotten men has struggled for form in his home country. Anita has made 29 appearances for Willem II this season, although 13 of those have come from the substitutes bench.
The midfielder finished the season in 10th with Willem, bang smack in the middle of the table. One highlight for the club was reaching the KNVB final, although they were spanked 4-0 in the final by Champions League semi-finalists Ajax.
Anita was an unused substitute for that hammering, which probably summed up his season.
Jay-Roy Grot - VVV-Venlo
Jay-Roy Grot has had a decent loan spell(Image: Christof Koepsel/Getty Images)
Grot is one of the better performers from Leeds’ loan flock, grabbing six goals and three assists in 33 appearances, although 14 of those were from the bench.
To be fair, three of those goals came and two assists came in his final five games, which shows he was fairly anonymous for the majority of the campaign.
The 21-year-old’s long-term future may lie away from Elland Road, but his performances out in Holland could be enough to secure him a deal back in his home country.
Laurens De Bock - KV Oostende
Laurens De Bock is unlikely to have a future at Leeds(Image: BRUNO FAHY/AFP/Getty Images)
De Bock was another man who struggled for game time out in Belgium. The defender made only nine appearances during the second half of the campaign, with only seven of those coming from the start of matches.
The 26-year-old looks set to be another who will seek a permanent move away from Elland Road this summer, unless Bielsa springs a big surprise.
Ouasim Bouy - PEC Zwolle
Bouy finished the season with 19 appearances to his name after a full season at PEC Zwolle. His sporadic appearances won’t have done much for his development and at the age of 25, he really should be looking to nail down a permanent role in the starting XI.
Tyler Denton - Peterborough United
Injury disrupted Denton's campaign(Image: Alex Pantling/Getty Images)
Denton’s season was hit and miss for Posh as they just missed out on a top-six finish. Darren Ferguson’s side finished seventh in the League One table, having previously struggled under Steve Evans.
Denton found himself constantly in and out of their defence and only made 13 appearances in total. He will have wanted to have more than nine starts in a full League One season to his name this year and at the age of 23, he will be hoping for a lot more match action next time around.
Paudie O’Connor - Bradford City
Paudie O'Connor had two loan spells
Another player who switched loan clubs in January, swapping Blackpool for Bradford after making just ten appearances at Bloomfield Road.
The Bantams suffered a nightmare season, but O'Connor was able to get some minutes under his belt when fit, as he turned out 21 times, even wearing the captain's armband on occasion towards the end of the campaign.
Liam Kitching - Harrogate Town
The 19-year-old defender enjoyed a strong campaign with Harrogate Town as they reached the National League play-offs in their first campaign at that level..
It wasn’t to be for Kitching and Co, however, as they were beaten by AFC Flyde. That was his final and 34th appearance of the campaign for the club, which is more that can be said for a number of Leeds’ other loanees.
On the basis of these performances, the youngster should be targeting a spot in the Football League this season, with opportunities at Elland Road likely to be hard to come by.
Oriol Rey – Conquense
Leeds’ 21-year-old midfielder made 34 appearances for Conquense this season as the third-tier Spanish outfit ended the season in 18th place. Despite being a mainstay in the side, the Spaniard managed just one goal during his time at the club.
Whether Rey will now target a move back to England to ply his trade in the Football League or move back abroad remains to be seen.
The very latest on Leeds United
Alex Machuca - Burgos CF
Like Rey, Machuca has spent his time in the lower echelons of Spanish football. The 21-year-old made 15 appearances for Burgos CF as they finished the season 11th in the second tier.
The midfielder will now set his sights on making a name for himself within English football if he is to have any hopes of breaking through at Elland Road.
Whilst he has had a decent season for Burgos, it’s tough to imagine those cameo role being enough to see him break into Bielsa’s plans for next season.

Shaughnessy, O'Connor, De Bock, Pearce, Denton, Coyle, Anita, Bouy, Ideguchi, Saiz, Sacko, Cibicki, Grot, Dalby, Wilks, Kitchin all will be returning from loan.....
-
Jeg tror denne twitterkontoen treffer her:
I Hate Leeds
@ihatelufc
Harry Wilson. Mason Mount. Tammy Abraham. Tyrone Mings. Dwight Gayle. Fikayo Tomori.
All Premier League players on loan in the Championship this season - this is what Leeds mean when they say they need to explore this market better.

Anita (Willem II)
Cibicki (Elfsborg ..her er vel kontrakten terminert?)
Ekuban (Trabsonspor)
Shaughnessy(Hearts)

Lite i lønn, "ettertraktet" i andre markeder enn Leeds vanligvis selger spillere.
Pearce, aldersbestemt landslagsspiller for England. Går neppe arbeidsledig. Lav lønn, attraktiv i FL.

Thomas Wilson
@thomas_wilson95
Potentially Robbie Gotts vs Alfie McCalmont tomorrow, if both play of course! #LeedsLoaneeDerby
Really good half from Robbie Gotts. Playing almost as an inside left forward, pressing the hell out of Oldham's defence. Making some good runs in behind as well.
McCalmont less involved in his defensive midfield position. Did break forward more in the second half of the first half.
Gotts probably the MOTM, anything Salford did good he was involved in. McCalmont also had a strong second half. Played forward and got stuck in.
-
Robbie Gotts - Salford City
Gotts spent the first half of the season on loan with Lincoln City in League One but a lack of game time saw him move down a division in January.
Since the move to Salford City, the 21-year-old has featured eight times scoring twice and notching one assist.
Richie Wellens deployed Gotts as a right wing-back for the first time at the weekend for City's trip to Southend United.
He has played as a central midfielder more often than not for The Ammies since his temporary switch to Lancashire.
Gotts played 66 minutes at Roots Hall and picked up a booking before being substituted in the 0-0 draw.
Salford sit ninth in the League Two standings, one point off the play-off places.
Alfie McCalmont - Oldham Athletic
The Whites central midfielder has impressed for the Latics this season having made 23 appearances in all competitions.
McCalmont has scored three times and recorded four assists in League Two under Harry Kewell.
The 20-year-old played all 90 minutes of Oldham's 3-1 victory over Carlisle United on Saturday at Brunton Park and now sit 15th in the table.
Ryan Edmondson - Northampton Town
Edmondson spent the first half of the season on loan with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
The 19-year-old made the switch to Northampton Town in January due to a lack of game time and has featured on 10 occasions.
Edmondson is yet to record a goal or an assist since his move with Town struggling at the foot of the League One table, two points from safety.
Northampton remain managerless after the recent sacking of head coach Keith Curle in early February.
Edmondson played 74 minutes at the weekend in a 2-1 loss to Swindon Town.
Bryce Hosannah - Bradford City
Hosannah has made eight appearances for Bradford City in League Two this season.
Despite his limited action he has impressed for the Bantams at right-back but has suffered with injuries during his loan move.
Hosannah is yet to feature this year, with his last appearance coming in mid-December due to a hamstring problem.
City are 11th in the standings after a weekend win over Walsall and have their eyes firmly on a play-off place after a recent upturn in form at Valley Parade.
Jordan Stevens - Bradford City
The winger has endured an up and down season after swapping Swindon Town for Bradford City in January.
Stevens featured 15 times for Swindon before the arrival of new boss John Sheridan saw him fall down the pecking order.
The 20-year-old has made one start and seven substitute appearances for the Bantams. He was a late change from the bench at the weekend in a 2-1 victory at Walsall.
Mateusz Bogusz - UD Logrones
Bogusz is spending the season on loan with La Liga 2 outfit UD Logrones, where he has featured 16 times.
The 19-year-old midfielder has recorded one goal and one assist since his move to Spain.
He was a late substitute at the weekend in a 1-0 defeat to Mallorca, with Logrones now winless in their last six league games to sit 16th in the table.
Kun Temenuzhkov - Real Union
The 21-year-old has featured 16 times and scored three goals for Real Union this season.
Temenuzhkov is spending the season on loan in Spain in the Segunda Division Group B (third tier).
He was an unused substitute at the weekend with Union defeating Amorebieta 2-0 to move second and sit four points off top spot.
Rafa Mujica - Las Palmas
Mujica spent the first half of the campaign with Real Oviedo but was used as a substitute just three times.
The 22-year-old made the switch to Las Palmas in La Liga 2 - the same division - and has made three starts and one appearance off the bench since January.
Mujica has notched one goal and played 45 minutes before being replaced in a 4-0 defeat to Castellon on Saturday.

What’s the future of our loaned out players? Alfie McCalmont and Mateusz Bogusz in particular have had a good time out on loan this season. Do any of them have a future here at all? Or are they all likely to be loaned or sold this summer? —
You might have read the interview I did with Robbie Gotts a couple of weeks back. He’s a lovely lad and a good player but I got a distinct impression that he suspects his future lies elsewhere. Bielsa always keeps his leading under-23s close to him. He’d rather they trained at Thorp Arch than played elsewhere on loan. This naturally concludes that anyone who is allowed to leave on loan is a fair distance from his plans.
-

Karma is a bitch!
Men klubben sliter, og ligger såvidt over nedrykksstreken.
