Det pågår avhør av de involverte i saken mot Chelsea. Dette kom frem da Danny Rose uttalte seg for panelet:
PLANELY WRONG
EXCLUSIVE: POACHING ROW LATEST Leeds claim Chelsea flew teenage stars to London in private jet
Simon Mullock
CHELSEA hired a private jet to fly the three youngsters they wanted to prise away from Leeds United on a fact-finding trip to London, the Championship club has claimed.
That was just part of the evidence presented at a meeting at Elland Road last week that will decide whether the Premiership champions have a case to answer.
FA chiefs met with their counterparts from the Premier League and Football League on Friday to discuss the findings of a tribunal appointed to make an initial investigation into claims by Elland Road chairman Ken Bates that Chelsea had acted illegally in their pursuit of teenagers Danny Rose, Tom Taiwo and Michael Wood.
Taiwo and Wood are now both Chelsea players, while Rose decided to remain with Leeds.
The complaint to the football authorities was made by Bates. He has demanded massive compensation payments for the loss of the players plus a points deduction against Chelsea for their alleged malpractice. Chelsea maintain they have done nothing wrong.
In his evidence Rose, 16, described:
How Chelsea made contact with the Leeds trio without first seeking the consent of the Yorkshire club.
How he was flown down to London last October along with Taiwo and Wood on a private jet chartered by Chelsea.
How they were put up in a luxury five-star hotel and given VIP treatment as they watched Jose Mourinho's men being knocked out of the Carling Cup by Charlton on October 26.
How on the next day they took a tour of the club's training ground in Surrey, where they were given further encouragement by members of the backroom staff to join Chelsea.
There have been discussions between the clubs to agree a compensation package for the duo who moved to Stamford Bridge. The Sunday Mirror understands there is a massive gulf between the two clubs' valuations.
Bates insists Chelsea should pay the kind of £16million deal they recently splashed out for Nigerian John Obi Mikel. And sources inside the Premier League suggest a settlement between the clubs might prove the wisest way to resolve the situation.
But if a financial package cannot now be agreed the football authorities have a raft of swingeing punishments at their disposal - including the deduction of points.
The Londoners were fined £300,000 last year and given a suspended three-point deduction after they were found guilty of making illegal contact with Ashley Cole following a complaint from Arsenal.
Manchester United were also furious with the champions for their conduct in the controversial deal which saw Mikel move to Stamford Bridge in the summer after signing a contract to move to Old Trafford from Lyn Oslo.
United did not make an official complaint once Chelsea agreed to pay a £12m compensation package, while Lyn Oslo were handed £4m.
