Leeds United plot loan move for Chelsea starlet.
Football League World understands that Leeds United head-coach Neil Redfearn is keeping tabs on Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is highly-rated at Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea, and according to FLW sources close to the Yorkshire club, Leeds United are considering a short-term loan deal for the winger before the end of the emergency loan window on November 25th.
Redfearn has admitted that he would like to sign a winger to add an element of width to the Leeds United midfield, saying to LUTV:
“We haven’t really got any genuine wingers within the squad. The width comes from full-back areas, so whether it’s a 4-3-3 or a diamond, the width seems to come from the full-back areas,â€
“We’ve got good full-backs so it can be done like that, but it’s nice to have your plan B. It might bring a change where you have some genuine width with a natural attacking wide player.
“It’s maybe something that we’ll look at.â€
Boga can be utilised in a number of attacking roles and he is known for his ability to create goalscoring opportunities and score goals.
A French international at Under-16 and Under-17 level, Boga looks set to have a bright future and a loan move to Leeds United could provide him with first-team football that will no doubt be beneficial in his development.
