“Bianchi, is one of the clubs highest earnersâ€Today. Steve Evans took his seat on his weekly press conference and confirmed what many of the Leeds fan base have been waiting to hear for over a year. Tommaso Bianchi could be departing club in this transfer window.
For a player that came to the club with so much promise looks like he could be leaving with a bit of a joke tag hung around his neck. Many of us thought after witnessing a master class of a performance in midfield against Dundee last pre-season and thought, finally we have a player at the club who can fill the massive boots of the recently departed Michael Tonge.
From that day, nothing much has gone well for the Italian. After featuring heavily last season with ever present appearances (Probably down to Cellino) but with no threat or value to the team at all.
This summer it was announced Bianchi would be out for 6 weeks with a knee injury. Since returning he hasn’t made the first team squad once this season and rightly so. With the emergence of Mowatt, Phillips, Cook and the additions of Bridcutt and Adeyami with Murphy to add, Bianchi finds himself down the bottom of the midfield pecking order.

With that in mind, that could be used in the transfer pot to attract players this month or go towards improving the current offer to Sam Byram.
No club wants high earners eating into the wage budget kicking his heels in the reserves so it will be interesting to see how the club can offload him in the coming weeks.
