Neil Redfearn: Happy with attacking duo
..
Leeds head coach Neil Redfearn has praised the attitude of Souleymane Doukara and Adryan as they both push for recalls to the starting line-up.
French striker Doukara has not started a game since the defeat at Derby on December 30, while Brazilian midfielder Adryan has been left out of the squad altogether for the last two matches.
"To be fair to Souleymane, he's worked hard and he's done extra," said Redfearn.
"Adryan's finding something extra in his game which he probably didn't know he had. That's good. We're dragging it out of him.
"Sometimes it's tough but you've got to find that extra bit. They're learning about themselves now.
"It's a young side, some of them have had their noses pushed out, so they've got to come up with the goods. That's the way forward.
"The thing is, you've got to try and put a side together that will win games."
Leeds, three points above the relegation zone, aim to win their first league match in eight against Bournemouth at Elland Road on Tuesday.
Redfearn added: "We've got to the point where we need to start winning and be consistent. I haven't got any favourites.
"If the lads are playing well then they get in. Then the others have got to fight for a place.
"But that doesn't mean I don't rate the lads who aren't in the team, because I do."
