Dennis Wise has received a massive boost ahead of Friday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
Skipper Alan Thompson and striker Tore Andre Flo are both training in advance of the Memorial Ground clash while Curtis Weston and Ian Westlake have completed 90 minutes in a behind-closed-doors game as they returned from injury.
Jonathan Douglas is also set to return from international duty on Thursday morning, and Wisey is hoping to have a near full squad to select from.
"Tore's training and Thommo trained on Wednesday," confirmed the boss.
"Thommo still feels it so we'll see how it is. We'll also have Jonathan Douglas back as soon as he can get back.
"We'll make decisions on Thursday. We've got a rough idea, we'll just have to see. We'll have a look at Dougie and see how Thommo goes."
Wisey's midfield options are further boosted with the availability of Westy and Curtis, while Paul Huntington also completed the friendly win against Chesterfield.
"Westy got a game in and so did Paul and Curtis, and they all needed a game," added the boss.
"There's not too many on injury list which is good. We don't want people rushing back and falling flat."
New signing David Lucas is also likely to go straight into the squad on Friday. The ex-Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper has joined on a short-term contract.
"He's 29 and he's a bit more experienced," explained Dennis.
"He's been in situations and he's been at a few clubs. He's trained well, he's a good age for a goalkeeper, and he provides competition for Alan and Casper."
One player who is fit but will again miss out is Filipe Da Costa. The Portuguese winger scored in the behind-closed-doors game, but the club are waiting on international clearance.
"I dont know how long this is going to be," added the boss.
"It was wonderful goal, and he's got a lot of ability. We're just having to wait on him unfortunately.
"He's frustrated, but it gives us chance to get him fit. It's more frustrating for him than anyone else because he wants to play football."
