Tom Tvedt, Idrettspresident.

I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22. Then in my first season in the top flight I had bagged an impressive 15 goals by the end of January. My form earned me an England call-up. Am I a £35m striker? No. I am Michael Ricketts, February 2002.

Sad to hear fellow #LUFC fan, Truls C. Andersen, a giant in Norwegian press, has passed away at the age of 59. Truls brought English football life and culture into the lives of so many Norwegians.

The 25 celebrities you didn't know are Leeds United fans

There’s no doubting that Leeds United are one of the most famous football clubs in the country.

With lots of trophies to their name and hailing from a one-club city Leeds United’s fanbase is absolutely massive.

We’ve taken a look at some of the Elland Road team’s most famous supporters from across the globe.

There are stars from the big screen, music legends and sporting icons on this list.

There will be some you know, of course, but we’ll guarantee that there will be also others that you didn’t realise were marching on together with us all.

Famous Leeds United fans

Here’s the list of familiar faces who support Leeds United, sticking with the Whites through thick and thin.

Sir Nick Faldo

Sir Nick Faldo in action
It all starts with a big-hitter and there aren’t many bigger than former golf Ryder Cup captain, Sir Nick Faldo.

Let’s hope we see Sir Nick at Elland Road this season.

Kelly Jones

Musician Kelly Jones fell in love with Leeds United back in the 1970s
The Stereophonics frontman might be Welsh but he’s a massive fan of the club.

He fell in love with Leeds during the Don Revie era as a child in the 1970s. His big brother used to hand him down old skool Admiral kits.

Tim Booth

James' Tim Booth is friends with former Leeds United favourite Gordon Strachan
The James lead singer has been a Leeds United fan since he was eight.

In his younger years, he was a big fan of Gordon Strachan and somewhat randomly the pair are now close friends.

In an interview with the Independent, Booth said: "When we released the album Laid in 1993, I was living in Manchester, and going over to see Leeds games when he was captain.

"I left some signed copies of my album for the team and Gordon rang me up and invited me to come to a game. He said ‘those dresses you wear on the cover of the album – you're not turning up in one of them are you?’."

And the two have been mates ever since.

Ken Hom

Celebrity chef Ken Hom is said to be a Leeds United fan
The world famous chef is known to be a Leeds United fan.

However, we're not sure sure whether he floats in the wind a little because we’ve also spotted tweets where he’s admitted having a soft spot for Manchester United.

Ed Miliband

"His wife told me once that she was a big fan of My Hero (the BBC comedy show). These are the moments I treasure."

Mel B

Marching on together!

Ipausen ble U19-spillerne spurt om sine fotballdrømmer. Detgikk mye i Champions League og VM-fotball. Nikolai sa at drømmen var å spille for Leeds 👌
