Upper Easter Stands blir åpnet til denne sesongens siste hjemmekamp i årets serie.

Kamp 19/4:

Bristol R v Gillingham preview: Gills desperate for win at Rovers

Gillingham know defeat at Bristol Rovers would leave them with a tough task if they are to escape the drop.
Rovers manager Paul Trollope has no fresh injury concerns, although Danny Coles (foot) is expected to remain on the sidelines after missing the previous three matches.
The defender is expected to be out for the remainder of the season although Trollope is hoping he may still play some part.
Ryan Green will definitely miss out with an Achilles injury which has kept him out of the side since November. He has resumed training with the squad but is not yet ready to return.
On-loan Jeff Hughes' season may not be over as first expected.
The Crystal Palace player was injured in a reserve game last month and has been back at Selhurst Park receiving treatment on the ankle injury but could make a shock return before the end of the season.
Under-pressure Gills boss Mark Stimson hopes to welcome back defender John Nutter for the weekend clash.
Nutter has missed the last two games after being forced off in the 2-1 win over Luton on April 1st with a hamstring problem, but hopes to have overcome the injury in time to reclaim his place on the left from Barry Fuller.
Goalkeeper Simon Royce could also return from the ankle injury that has kept him out for more than a month.
Midfielder Adam Miller was booked for the 10th time this season during the defeat to Swansea last weekend and begins a two-match ban, and his absence - along with that of Mark Bentley, who completes his own two-match suspension - could pave the way for Stuart Lewis to return.
Kevin Maher will also keep his place in midfield after replacing Bentley against the Swans, while striker Georges Ba could return to the squad after missing out last weekend to attend the birth of his child.
Ba could even be handed a start as Stimson considers playing three in attack.

PIRATES DRAW PUTS GILLS ON BRINK

Steve Elliott pushed Gillingham to the brink of relegation with a breathtaking equalising goal to earn Bristol Rovers a 1-1 draw.
The big Pirates centre-back unleashed a tremendous 25-yard volley 10 minutes from time to earn a point from an entertaining game.
The battling Gills had taken a 38th-minute lead when John Nutter powerfully headed in Nicky Southall's far-post cross from the right.
Rovers could have been three up in the early stages, but wasted their chances in another disappointing home display.
Top scorer Rickie Lambert might have had a hat-trick, but he was twice denied by fine saves from Derek Stillie and could find no way past the impressive Gills 'keeper.
The visitors fought so hard to protect the lead, but had no answer to Elliott's strike and now need at least four points from their remaining two games to have any chance of staying up.

Upper Tier: Let The Long Climb Begin Again

Elland Road On Course For New Crowd Record

Elland Road will play host to the biggest crowd of the Coca Cola League season after the box office confirmed ticket sales for the visit of Gillingham on Saturday week are already in excess of 31,000.
The 32,501 that turned out for December's 4-0 defeat of Huddersfield is certain to be surpassed given the upper tier of the East Stand will be open for the first time since the home leg of the play-off semi-final with Preston in 2006.
In fact, a complete sell-out is being predicted with tickets for the East Stand Upper priced at £20 for adults and £10 for children.
Should Leeds beat Yeovil on Friday the Whites would kick off against Gillingham already assured of a place in the play-offs but given the outcome of the arbitration will be made public by May 1, a result against the Gills could wrap up the League One title.
The Priestfield outfit were the first League One side to claim points at the expense of Leeds this season, by way of a 1-1 draw in Kent in late September.

Kamp 26/4:

BENTLEY BACK FOR VITAL CLASH
Midfielder Mark Bentley returns to the Gillingham squad for the vital home clash with Swindon.
Bentley has completed a two-game ban and boss Mark Stimson has hinted the 30-year-old may be handed an instant recall at the expense of youngster Stuart Lewis.
Fellow midfielder Adam Miller definitely misses out as he serves the second of his two-match suspension, while striker Dennis Oli could return after being rested at Bristol Rovers last weekend due to a head injury.
Goalkeeper Simon Royce (ankle) was left out of the matchday squad against Rovers and is unlikely to return and defender Adam Bygrave returned to his parent club Reading earlier this week, so is unavailable for selection.
Defeat against the Robins will see the Gills relegated if Cheltenham pick up at least a point at Oldham, while a draw would also see Stimson's side go down if Cheltenham win and Millwall do not lose to Carlisle.

Swindon manager Maurice Malpas will hand a late fitness test to Miguel Comminges.
The defender was forced off with a leg problem late on in Tuesday's win over Bristol Rovers and may be forced to sit out the 12.30pm kick-off.
Hasney Aljofree came on in Comminges' place against the Pirates with Jamie Vincent switching positions and Malpas may opt to do the same on Saturday.
Defender Patrick Kanyuka played half an hour for the reserves in midweek as he stepped up his recovery from a groin problem but will not feature for the first team again this season.
Strikers Blair Sturrock (arm), Christian Roberts (knee) and Barry Corr (shoulder) are already ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
The Robins will attempt to record a third consecutive victory for the first time this season, a result which would virtually send their opponents down.

Gills hanging by a thread
Gills suffer yet more late heartache

Gillingham's hopes of avoiding the drop have suffered yet another late blow after they were held 1-1 at home by Swindon.
The Gills surrendered a late 1-0 advantage at Bristol Rovers and have repeated the feat this weekend, leaving their survival hopes hanging by a thread.
Mark Stimson could not have asked for a better start when Garry Richards put the home side ahead after just two minutes at The Priestfield.
They held the lead for 86 minutes as with just minutes remaining Hasney Aljofree netted for The Robins to snatch a late leveller.

Gills retain hope of great escape

Gillingham still retain faint hope of survival in League One despite a late equaliser by Hasney Aljofree for Swindon, thanks to Oldham’s last minute winner of Cheltenham. Bournemouth’s victory over Crewe means they go above Gillingham and leaves Gills needing to go to Elland Road needing to win hoping their relegation rivals lose.  The Gills faced Swindon Town in a grudge-match that Gillingham needed to win, otherwise faced relegation based on Cheltenham’s and Millwall’s scores.
Gary Mulligan made a return to the Gillingham starting eleven, whilst Gary Lewis retained his place in midfield after an impressive performance against Bristol Rovers.
Gillingham got off to a dream start when after just a minute of playing The Gills were awarded a freekick, and defender Garry Richards latched onto Nicky Southall’s free kick to send The Gills into ecstasy.
Simon King came close to doubling The Gills’ advantage when his 18th minute header went over the bar.
Gary Mulligan returning to the Gillingham starting line-up then thought he should have been awarded a penalty as did most Gills fans, however referee Stuart Atwell instead gave a free kick on the edge of the penalty box. Nicky Southall’s effort from the free kick was easily saved by Swindon ‘keeper Petr Brezovan.
The Gills wasted several more chances but were then severely punished by Swindon for sitting back late on.
Swindon Town skipper Hasney Aljofree latched onto Morrison’s flick on from a late corner to deny Gillingham a crucial victory.
The draw now means that Gillingham have to go to Elland Road and win and hope Cheltenham land at home to Doncaster Rovers at Whaddon Road. Also The Gills will need Bournemouth’s six game winning run comes to an end at Carlisle who went above Gillingham today after their victory at home to Crewe Alexandra. Millwall are now safe thanks to their win over Carlisle.

McAllister ready to give Leeds United starlets a chance

Gary McAllister is ready to expose a number of Leeds United's emerging prospects to the full heat of an Elland Road crowd when the club complete their League One season against Gillingham on Saturday.
United have spared themselves a tense finale after Friday's 1-0 victory over Yeovil Town guaranteed a top-six finish in the League One table and McAllister will take advantage of next weekend's dead rubber by giving his squad a strong academy presence.
McAllister's short reign has coincided with the rise to prominence of Jonathan Howson, a midfielder who was playing reserve-team football at the start of last season, and United's manager is hoping to give other members of the club's youth system a taste of the experience gained by Howson this term.
Striker Tom Elliott and midfielder Fabian Delph â€" players who made their senior debuts for Leeds during the 2006-07 campaign â€" are likely to be among those considered for selection this weekend, in front of the biggest crowd seen at Elland Road for a competitive football fixture for more than four years.
United's involvement in the play-offs is no longer at stake following a win at Huish Park which maintained their four-point lead over seventh-placed Brighton with only one match remaining, but an attendance of around 39,000 is expected on Saturday, far in excess of their biggest crowd of the season to date.
More than 32,000 supporters watched Leeds beat Huddersfield Town 4-0 on December 8, but United have opened the upper tier of Elland Road's East Stand for the last game of their 46-game schedule and tickets for Gillingham's visit to Yorkshire sold out on Thursday.
McAllister said: "It might give me the chance to give some of the youngsters who I rate a go in front of a big crowd at Elland Road.
"There are a couple of young guys who have really impressed me and we've promoted them up from the youth team to train beside us.
"This would just give them a little sense of what it is to play at Elland Road in front of a big crowd and it might help them further down the line.
"It's a nice little test of temperament."
Elliott was 17 when he made his first senior outing for Leeds during a 2-1 defeat at Norwich City in February 2007.
Dennis Wise, who handed Elliott his debut, was also responsible for introducing Delph to the club's first-teamsquad at the age of 16 against Derby County on the final day of last term.
Delph signed his first professional deal with Leeds in January, tying himself to the club until 2010, while Elliott is under contract for another two years having agreed senior terms at the beginning of the campaign.
Midfielder Oliver Hotchkiss â€" another player who has secured his maiden professional deal during the past six months â€" may also be considered for inclusion on Saturday after a consistent season with the club's reserves.
And former Motherwell goalkeeper Alan Martin is still waiting to make his first senior appearance for the Elland Road club.
The involvement of a number of youngsters would in turn free McAllister to temporarily withdraw a handful of his first-choice players at the end of a demanding and strenuous month.
Leeds completed four away fixtures during April, including visits to Yeovil, Leyton Orient and Millwall, and their manager may take up the chance to rest any jaded members of his squad when Gillingham arrive at Elland Road.
Striker Jermaine Beckford, the club's leading goalscorer, has missed their last three games with an ankle injury.
McAllister said: "We have got quite a big squad, but the same sort of 11 have been playing regularly.
"This might give me the opportunity to rest a few players because that's something I've not been able to do."
McAllister, however, is likely to be mindful of Gillingham's situation when he comes to name his squad for next weekend's fixture.

Mark Stimson's side require their first-ever victory at Elland Road to have any chance of remaining in League One next season after an 88th-minute goal from Hasney Aljofree denied them a priceless victory over Swindon Town on Saturday.
The Gills are two points from safety, and they, along with Cheltenham Town, Bournemouth and Crewe Alexandra, will have a vested interest in the strength of side selected by McAllister at Elland Road.
Stimson's players are heavy favourites to follow Luton Town and Port Vale into League Two, but the Gillingham boss said: "If we play like we have done recently, and ask questions of the big teams, there's no doubt we can bounce back."

Kilkenny: Leeds United are in the box seat

Neil Kilkenny believes a primed and in-form Leeds United will be the team to beat when the League One play-off semi-finals begin next month.
The Australian midfielder has spoken of a dressing room brimming with confidence after Friday night's 1-0 victory at Yeovil Town secured United's place among League One's top-six clubs.
Leeds are assured of sixth place with Brighton out of the running for a play-off position, and boss Gary McAllister will discover their semi-final opponents on Saturday after a weekend which left the fight for automatic promotion wide open.
Doncaster Rovers hold second place behind Swansea City following their 2-0 over Luton Town, but both Carlisle United and Nottingham Forest are a single point behind with one game to play.
There is still a possibility that Leeds could make a dramatic challenge for the final automatic spot, though that chance depends entirely on the arbitration panel investigating their 15-point deduction.
The tribunal are due to rule on whether the penalty was "unfair and unjust", as Leeds claim, by Thursday, but Kilkenny is preparing himself mentally for a play-off campaign.
The 22-year-old said: "The play-offs are going to be massive in terms of what they mean to Leeds, but I signed for this club because I wanted to play in big games.
"There's so much riding on the next few weeks and I've seen already that every team raises their game against us.
"I don't think too many players will be happy about coming to Elland Road to face a crowd of 40,000, but some will expect it to bring the best out of them.
"But when it comes to raising your game, we've done that as well as anyone this season. When we play at our peak, I don't think there's anyone in the division who can handle us.
"We've secured our place in the play-offs, but it's not over yet. I came here to get promoted, not to finish in the top six, and all of our players would say the same."
Kilkenny admitted that United would carry a heavy weight of expectation and pressure into the play-offs following the club's high-profile relegation from the Championship last season, but Friday's win was their 26th of the season and Leeds are likely to finish the term with a record bettered only by Swansea.
Kilkenny said: "When you come to any big club there's always a lot of pressure.
"In the short time that I've been at Leeds, I've found out that a lot of people on the outside seem to hate us.
"I don't know if that's because of the success the club's had in the past or because of how well the club's doing this season, but you can definitely feel it. We just get our heads down and play football.
"We needed to make sure we finished in the top six, that was the goal we'd set ourselves over the last few weeks. But it was never our main goal and we've got another step to take."
Leeds were expecting to receive confirmation today that left-back Alan Sheehan will serve a three-match ban after his red card at Yeovil.
Sheehan was dismissed for a second-half foul on Lee Peltier and the straight red he received from referee Keith Stroud looks set to rule him out of both legs of United's play-off semi-final.
McAllister had the option of recalling left-back Ben Parker, who is on loan at Darlington, but he is facing a ban after being sent off on Saturday against Dagenham.

He who laughs last...time to dispatch Gillingham through the League One trap door

Leeds United's faultless seven game winning start to the 2007/08 league season came to an abrupt halt in a stormy encounter against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium last September. Despite having both Jermaine Beckford and fellow striker Tresor Kandol red-carded, the nine men were closing out a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Seb Carole goal, when the Gills salvaged an added-time equaliser.
Gillingham's outspoken chairman, Paul Scally, had earlier felt the need to confirm his support of the Football League's unprecedented 15 point sanction against United for exiting administration without a CVA in place. 'I don't need to hide behind anonymity or a secret vote,' said Scally. 'I voted with the League's board and I think I was right to do so. I wasn't responsible for deciding whether Leeds should be punished, or what their punishment should be. Neither were any of the clubs. The board took that decision, and we were simply asked to back one party or the other using the evidence in front of us.'
'The League's explanation seemed very convincing to me and, to be honest, I thought Leeds United's case was really poor. I asked a couple of questions and got answers from Leeds which I felt were completely unsatisfactory. There wasn't any real doubt about which way I should vote.'
On Saturday Leeds United 'welcome' Paul Scally and his football club to Elland Road. The Gills currently sit in the final relegation place and must win the game to have any chance of surviving the dreaded drop. Back in September Mr Scally must surely have thought that by supporting the 15 point deduction he was ensuring that his club would get another two big pay-days against the Whites next season. Should Leeds get their way, there will be two divisions separating the clubs come the end of May.

Treningskamp...

Leeds United get tough ref for Gillingham game

45 year old Select Group referee Phil Dowd of Stoke has been given charge of the Leeds United v Gillingham game at Elland Road this Saturday, by the Football League.
Once described as the “worst referee in the Premiership” by an unnamed Premership manager (per Paul Jewell), Dowd, nonetheless, spends most of his time refereeing top flight matches. You will have seen him on TV this season; he reffed the Liverpool 5 v 2 Havant match in the FA Cup, the Chelsea 4 v 4 Aston Villa game and Everton’s memorable 7 v 1 Sunderland win.
He has only officiated at two League One games this 2007-08 season - and one was a Leeds United match - the 3-1 away defeat to Carlisle United! During this match he produced six yellow cards, five against Leeds; Jamie Clapham, Matt Heath, Andy Hughes, Tresor Kandol and Dave Prutton! Surely the Football League realise it’s too late to stop Leeds getting into the play-offs?
This season Dowd has brandished the yellow card 119 times and the red card 10 times. Incredibly, neither is a record! In 2005-2006 season in 46 matches he produced 183 yellow cards, an average of 3.98 per game! In 2001-02 in just 29 games he showed 13 red cards - that’s a sending off every 2.23 matches! His best individual tally must be 10 yellows and 2 reds in the March 2006 meeting of Liverpool and Everton at Anfield. Despite everything at stake on Saturday for Leeds and Gillingham let’s hope his cards stay in his pocket.
The other officials will be A. Butler and M. Scholes and the fourth official will be D. Whitestone. Whitestone is a regular Leagues One and Two referee, although he hasn’t been in charge of a Leeds United game this season. He has managed to clock up the same number of red cards as Dowd in just 75% of the number of games and his tally of 93 yellow cards is a bit tasty for just 31 games in charge.

Leeds United's Elding shown signs of improvement

Anthony Elding.

Gary McAllister has admitted that he will remove Anthony Elding from Leeds United's starting line-up with regret after watching the striker make the most of his recent opportunity.
Elding has started United's last two matches in the absence of the injured Jermaine Beckford, and he contributed to the important wins over Millwall and Yeovil Town which guaranteed United a top-six finish in League One.
The striker â€" a January signing from Stockport County â€" had been largely restricted to substitute appearances during the initial stages of McAllister's reign and he is likely to return to the bench once Beckford recovers from his ankle problem.
United's 20-goal forward and player of the year is in line to make his comeback against Gillingham at Elland Road this weekend, and he and Dougie Freedman will operate as McAllister's first-choice strikeforce during the League One play-offs, provided both players are fit.
But McAllister said: "I've seen definite signs of improvement from Anthony.
"He's stepped in for two important matches and he's done well up front.
"It's obviously unfortunate for him that with Jermaine coming back he might have to make way.
"But you look for players to come in and make a strong contribution and
I feel that he's done that."
Beckford's return will leave United at virtually full-strength for the play-offs, with the exception of left-back Alan Sheehan who begins a three-match ban on Saturday.
Despite the club's on-going fight to overturn their 15-point deduction â€" a battle which was due to end at 5pm today and which could still hand automatic promotion to the Elland Road club â€" McAllister and his players are preparing themselves for the play-offs after securing their place in the top-six last week.

Full-back Frazer Richardson said: "It's been a long hard season but we're there and we're looking to go all the way.
"We don't know who we'll play in the play-offs but we're determined and focused to go on from here.
"Everyone can feel proud and part of the collective.
"We've been striving for something all season and everyone has played a part in that."
The few remaining tickets for Saturday's clash with Gillingham sold out yesterday, ensuring that a capacity crowd will attend the final game of the season at Elland Road.
An extra 850 tickets were put on sale by Leeds this week but they were
purchased in a matter of hours yesterday.
The attendance on Saturday expected to be the highest in the Football League this season.
United have nothing riding on the fixture and McAllister may name a number of academy players in his squad, but Gillingham are still fighting to retain their League One status and need a win on Saturday to remain in the division.
The Kent club lie third- from-bottom in Coca-Cola League One, two points from safety.

United have no room for error now

Mick Jones

The marathon that Leeds United are one game from completing is about to become a full-blown sprint, hastened by the cup-final intensity that Mick Jones knows well.
The League One season is a 46-game epic but the emphasis on stamina will shift to a short and sharp examination of nerve once United's game against Gillingham on Saturday brings their initial schedule to a close.
Leeds have run at an exhausting pace since August, winning 26 matches and constructing a tally of points that is inferior only to Swansea City's, but it is their ability to produce a thundering finish which will determine whether United are a Championship club at the start of next season.
Their opponents in the League One play-off semi-finals will be confirmed this weekend, but the possible pairings are an example of how evenly-balanced the knockout stages of the domestic term should be.
United have taken three points from two games against Carlisle United, Southend United and Doncaster Rovers. Four were secured from home-and-away clashes with Nottingham Forest, though Forest can reasonably argue that both matches could have favoured them.
This season's play-offs may prove among the most open and unpredictable in years.
Jones, the former Elland Road striker, never experienced the play-offs but he knows more than the average player about the pressure of all-or-nothing scenarios.
The 63-year-old was part of United's FA Cup-winning side in 1972 and a member of the Leeds team beaten by Sunderland at Wembley 12 months later, and he can still remember the mental demands of one-off matches on which everything rests.
"Leeds have had an excellent season," said Jones. "And it's a very good achievement to be in the top six at all.
"But this is cup-final time and that puts different pressure on the players of every club in the play-offs.
"Over 46 games you've got time to find your form or deal with a few bad results, but there's no real margin for error in the play-offs.
"I don't think it's simply a case of which club's got the most talented players â€" I think it's a case of who can deal with the situation best and who is most up for it.
"I've seen players being physically sick before a cup final and that's what the pressure can do to you. But the teams who feed off that are always the teams who finish up with the trophy in their hands.
"When Leeds lost to Watford in the 2006 play-off final, I remember seeing the players in the tunnel and seeing the look in the eyes of the Watford players. You could tell that they were really fired up and that they fancied their chances. It didn't take long before that game was over.
"But I've seen a lot of Leeds this season and they've looked very resilient to me recently.
"The win against Carlisle was very impressive and that was the result which said to me that Leeds were definitely heading into the play-offs.
hope they can do it from here."
The sudden move from the managerial reign of Dennis Wise to the existing tenure of Gary McAllister was seen by many â€" Ken Bates included â€" as the transitional period which took automatic promotion beyond the reach of Leeds.
But McAllister will complete his 17th match in charge on Saturday and the form of his team has peaked perfectly with the play-offs less than a fortnight away.
Friday's win at Yeovil Town was another comprehensive performance and a creditable success at the end of a month in which Leeds have been asked to play away from home on four occasions, three in the south of England.
Jones suspected that McAllister's appointment as Wise's replacement at the end of January would prove successful, but the scale of the challenge given to United's new manager has also been evident over the past three months.
"Dennis and Gary have very different managerial styles," said Jones.
"You can see that in the way the team played under both of them.
"No disrespect to Dennis, but he didn't insist on controlled, passing football in the way that Gary does.
"One of the things you have to give McAllister credit for is the fact that he came in at short notice and demanded straight away that the team played in the style that he wanted.
"That wasn't easy to pull off because most of the players will have been set in the ways of Dennis Wise, and the tactics he liked to use.
"Looking at the team now, the midfield seems stronger than it was and the signing of Dougie Freedman has made a big difference. Leeds were lacking a bit of experience before he arrived.
"They're certainly going into the play-offs as one of the teams who are in form."
Saturday's fixtures will confirm the definite make up of the top six, though the final League One table is still dependent on the findings of the arbitration panel which is reviewing United's 15-point penalty and which will publish its verdict by Thursday at the latest.
At present, Doncaster, Forest and Carlisle are all in a position to claim the division's second automatic promotion spot this weekend and, if the tribunal panel fails to support Leeds' argument against their deduction, McAllister's preparation for the play-offs will begin in earnest on Sunday once the line-up for the semi-finals is complete.
"Most of the supporters would have laughed if you'd said at the start of the season that we'd be in the play-offs," Jones said.
"It's easy to forget what a terrible position the club were in and how many good results its taken to get them into this position.
"Leeds didn't turn up for their last play-off final but they've got it in them to go all the way this year."

Judgement Day for Gills at Elland Road

Gillingham travel to Leeds on Saturday knowing that even an unlikely win at Elland Road might not be enough to keep them up. Gillingham are two points off of Cheltenham Town and would need both Bournemouth and Cheltenham to lose and pull off a shock win in front of a sell out crowd at Elland Road. Gillingham Team News
Adam Miller returns to the Gillingham squad having served his two match suspension for picking up ten bookings this season.
Meanwhile, Simon Royce and Barry Fuller are ruled out for The Gills’ crucial finale.
Donnovan Simmonds has returned to Coventry City having completed his loan spell.

Leeds United Team News
Leeds’ top goalscorer Jermaine Beckford is a doubt for the visit of Gillingham due to an ankle injury.
Alan Sheehan is suspended having saw red against Yeovil for a two footed challenge.
It is expected that Leeds manager Gary McAllister will rest some key players ahead of the play-offs.

Relegation Run-In
For Gillingham to stay up, Mark Stimson’s men require Cheltenham to lose at home to Doncaster and for Bournemouth to fail in getting their seventh consecutive victory. A win for either of those sides would guarantee League Two football next season for Gillingham and even Cheltenham drawing would all but relegate The Gills, unless they somehow beat Leeds United by a six goal margin.

Pre-Match Views

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson:
"It's a must-win game and one the players should be looking forward to. We know what we need to do. It's going to be difficult but we've got a belief we can do it.
"I've had big games in the past where we have won a league, a cup and done the double but what’s at stake here is to stay in the division. That’s something we’re desperate to do, so I’d have to say this is the biggest one."

Gillingam captain Andrew Crofts:
“After the Swindon result we thought maybe it was going to be over, butt he results meant we’ve been given an extra chance and it meant we were able to get over the disappointment of Saturday a lot quicker.
“With Oldham scoring late on, we feel that maybe it’s meant to be. We could have been down but we’ve been given an extra chance and hopefully the other teams will slip up. It’s going to be tough but we’ll be positive. We’ve got to take the game to them and we have to win to stand any chance. We’ll be going into the match in a positive frame of mind."

Leeds United Chairman Ken Bates:
"It is ironic that having voted to penalise Leeds, Gillingham find their fate in our hands on Saturday. It would be even more ironic if we win and are responsible for relegating them. Some might say it was poetic justice."

Elland Road:
Leeds United’s Elland Road stadium has an all seated capacity of 40,204 and can hold up to 1,800 away supporters.
Away fans are located in the corner of the ground’s South Stand, with not a great amount of legroom. Also, it has been said that the ground’s stewards can sometimes eject supporters without warning for just swearing so it is advised that Gillingham fans are on their best behaviour when in the stadium.

Killing off the Gills is target for Beckford

SHOOTING star Jermaine Beckford will be hoping to crown a momentous week with a goal in Leeds United's final home game of the season tomorrow.
Beckford goes into the visit of Gillingham in front of a sell-out Elland Road crowd not only boasting the distinction of becoming the first United striker since Mark Viduka to rattle in 20 league goals in a season, but also armed with a clutch of end of campaign awards.
In a mighty whites clean sweep at the club's annual awards Beckford scooped the fans' player of the year award, the players' player of the year prize and the gong for the fans' goal of the year.
Now he would love to sign off the campaign proper - before the rush into the end of season play-off scramble - by adding another goal, or two, to his impressive 21-strike tally.
Leeds are unlikely to be unchanged from the side which sealed their place in the play-offs eight days ago.
Back then they eked out a precious 1-0 win at Yeovil thanks to an early strike from Dougie Freedman.
Defender Frazer Richardson wants to apply the proper send-off by beating Gillingham in front of a full house tomorrow.
"It's been a long hard season, but we're there and we're looking to go all the way now," said Richardson.
"We're moving forward and all the lads are focused."

Sannsynlig lag (4-4-2): Ankergren - Richardson, Michalik, Huntington, Hughes - Douglas, Kilkenny, Howson, Johnson - Freedman, Beckford.

EXPLOSIVE ENDING sier Macca.

Here we go with Leeds United
We're gonna give the boys a hand
Stand up and sing for Leeds United
They are the greatest in the land
Every day, we're all gonna say
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Everywhere, we're gonna be there
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Marching on together
We're gonna see you win (na na na na na na)
We are so proud
We shout it out loud
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
We've been through it all together
And we've had our ups and downs (ups and downs!)
We're gonna stay with you forever
At least until the world stops turning 'round
Every day, we're all gonna say
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Everywhere, we're gonna be there

Gratulerer folkens!

Friday 9th May
Coca-Cola Football League One
19:45 Southend vs Doncaster
Monday 12th May
Coca-Cola Football League One
19:45 Leeds vs Carlisle

Thursday 15th May
Coca-Cola Football League One
19:45 Carlisle vs Leeds

Friday 16th May
Coca-Cola Football League One
19:45 Doncaster vs Southend
Sunday 25th May
Coca-Cola Football League One
15:00 Winners 3rd v 6th vs Winners 4th v 5th

Herlig for min del.

Dermed balanse i regnskapet.

???   ???   ???

Herregud gutter!
