Could Samuel Amissah break through for Leeds U21s after impressive pre-season?

The Leeds United teenager has scored two goals in his last two appearances, one for the under-18s and one for the under-21s.
Back in April of this year 11 youngsters signed scholarship deals at Leeds United, and just a few months on one of them in particular is making waves during pre-season.
Samuel Amissah scored in a 2-1 victory for Leeds’ under-18s against Nostell MW on Saturday and he was rewarded for his efforts with a place on the bench for the under-21s’ friendly against Tadcaster Albion a few days later.
That match will be remembered for a wonder goal from a mystery Leeds trialist. However Amissah is unlikely to forget it for another reason, as he came on to double Leeds’ advantage in what proved to be a 2-0 win.
At just 16, it is far too much to expect Amissah to make it a hat-trick and score for the first-team during one of their remaining three friendlies, yet on recent evidence he looks set to have a considerable impact at under-18 and potentially under-21 level for the Whites in the upcoming campaign.
Pre-season may be about getting first-team players fit and ready for the challenges ahead, but sometimes it unearths a gem and Leeds appear to have found yet another in the form of Amissah.

Underskrevet på 2 års Scholarship!
Har hatt mange fantastiske kamper på lag under 16 i fjor, bidro til en seier i en cup i Irland, bl.a.
Meget spennende!
