ASTON VILLA: NEARLY 30,000 TICKETS SOLD
Huge demand for Villa visit.
Tickets are flying out of the Leeds United Ticket Office this week for our huge Championship match against Aston Villa at Elland Road on Saturday 3rd December (5.30pm live on Sky Sports).
Like our last home game with Newcastle United, there is a phenomenal demand for tickets, with nearly 30,000 having already been snapped up.
Once again the decision has been made to open the East Stand Upper and we could be at full capacity for the second home game running.
Our last meeting with Aston Villa came back in February 2004 in what was a Premier League fixture at Villa Park, whilst our last previous encounter at Elland Road came on Boxing Day 2003.
The Villans who were relegated from the top flight in May are currently unbeaten under their new manager Steve Bruce and like Leeds United, are one of the form teams in the division.
It promises to be a mouthwatering encounter and we are urging supporters to buy early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets for the game are now on general sale, with tickets available from from £28 adults, £22 concessions and £5 juniors.
Hospitality packages are also available for the visit of Villa, starting at just £4
9 including VAT.
Leeds United have announced that over 32,000 tickets have been sold for the game against Aston Villa this weekend.
Leeds announced earlier this evening that tickets are sold out in the South Stand whilst tickets are now limited in all over areas of the ground designated to Leeds supporters.
Aston Villa have already sold out their allocation for the game with in excess of 2,500 fans making the trip to support the midlands club.
Leeds last home game against Newcastle United was the first sell-out in the league at Elland Road since the final game of the 2009/10 season.
With 32,000 tickets already being sold, it will be the first time that Leeds have achieved crowds of over 30,000 in back-to-back games at Elland Road in the league since the festive period of 2010, when Portsmouth and Middlesbrough were the visitors.
