Ny spiss til U-23 laget:

Young centre forward to join up with the Under 23s...
Sam Dalby has signed for Leeds United from Leyton Orient.
     
The 18 year old centre forward has signed a two and a half year contract and will immediately join up with Carlos Corberan’s U23 side. Dalby made his debut for National League side Leyton Orient at the age of just 16.
   
Director of Football Victor Orta said, “We are pleased to welcome Sam to Leeds United, we believe that he can be an important player for the future.
   
He has already tasted League Two and National League football, he is tall and strong, and we are confident that in a couple of years time he can be competing for a place in our first team.
   
In the immediate future Sam will join in with our Under 23’s, who will help to develop him into the player we believe he can be”.
   
After sealing his move to Leeds United today, Dalby will be available for Friday's U23s game against Barnsley at Oakwell.

Alan Smith som Arsenal-Smith eller Leeds-Smith? Er vel mest lik på førstnevnte (høy og hengslet)

Alan Smith som Arsenal-Smith eller Leeds-Smith? Er vel mest lik på førstnevnte (høy og hengslet)

Tenkte på vår egen AS, som slo igjennom med et brak i en alder av 17 år. Dalby får veldig gode skussmål, og det spekuleres i om hans debut på A-laget kanskje ikke er så langt unna.

Bradford Winger Jordan Gibson will sign for Stevenage in the next 24 hours according to sources.

Also a loan deal to bring Leeds striker Sam Dalby to Stevenage will not happen after he failed a trial with the club.



Hva skjedde her egentlig? Dalby er vel et talent, eller?  :o

Jeg har lurt på hvorfor Dalby ikke har vært å se i det siste...

Mht prøvespill så er det vel nok å peke på Bailey Peacock Farrells mislykkede opphold i York.
Det er ikke alltid et mislykket prøvespill forteller noe om spilleren.

Et og et halvt år igjen av kontrakten i alle fall, leser eg i denne tråden.
19 år, for tidlig å konkludere om spilleren da. Han scorer jo en del mål...

Striker departs.

Leeds United striker Sam Dalby has today joined Premier League side Watford for an undisclosed fee.

Dalby signed for Leeds from Leyton Orient in January 2018 and became part of Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side.

The 19-year-old spent time on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Morecambe last season, where he made two substitute appearances.

We wish Sam all the best for the future.

Well this was an unexpected deal. Leeds striker Sam Dalby joins Watford for an undisclosed fee. Played just five minutes on loan at Morecambe last season. Two-year deal with the option of a third. #watfordfc #lufc

Veldig overraskende! Går nok på et nytt lån tenker jeg. Summen kan da ikke være særlig stor. 100-300 000 tenker jeg.

Våre U`lag skal spille med samme spillestil som vår 11`ver ..meget mulig dette ikke var tingen for Dalby som nå blomstrer i formasjon han trives i..
