Brian Kerr has been deposed as the favourite to fill the vacant manager’s position at Leeds United following a plunge on former England chief Glenn Hoddle over the past 48 hours.
Hoddle, available at 7/1 with high-street bookmaking firms on Monday, was cut to 11/8 market leader on Wednesday after a flood of money on the 48-year-old, who parted company with Wolves in the summer.
Current Elland Road caretaker manager John Carver is vying for favouritism as it becomes increasingly likely that he will be offered the job on a permanent basis at least until the end of the season.
Former Irish manager Kerr, who had been cut to as short as 2/1 favourite, has been eased considerably and is now best-priced at 11/1 with Bet365
