Basically the interpretation we got out of that was that we were allowed a total of eight window-to-window loans, four below and four above age 23, and an unlimited number of short term loans irrespective of the normal windows but apparently subject to some other sort of time limitations.
Now, during the fall we had two window-to-window loans:
Warner, 32
Horsfield, 32 (turned 33 in November)
During January, we've signed on loan, lest I'm mistaken:
Thompson, 33
Stack, 25
Sa, 31
Ankergren, 27
Kandol, Elliott and Heath are permanent signings even though they were all on short term "emergency" loans earlier. Now, the official site clearly states that Thompson, Stack and Ankergren are all on loan til the end of the season while I can't quite find that information on Sa even though I would off the top off my head have said the game goes for him.
But even excluding Sa, that would mean five over-23 players signed on standard loans so far this season. With Sa it would be six.
Did I miss something or what's the deal?
Hm, maybe... if a short term emergency loan can last for three months, then three months on from the closing of the window (tonight) would place us on May 1st leaving only one game of the season. Could one or two of the players actually be on a three month loan and the o/s is just a bit casual with that?
Det kan jo legges til at vi bare kan ha med 5 lånespillere i troppen samtidig. En av to keepere kan vi bruke. Dermed er det foreløpig bare to lånte utespillere i klubben. Dvs at det kanskje er mulig å låne 2-4 spillere til....og bruke maks 5 i hver kamp...?
Synes helt klart at vi IKKE er vinnere på lånemarkedet!
