Title: LUSCOS egen Leeds sang!

Har tenkt litt på det den siste tiden. Regner med det er noen musikalske sjeler her inne på forumet, som enten spiller i band eller som kan traktere et instrument sånn noenlunde bra.
Hadde vært artig å samlet en liten gjeng og gått inn for å lage en egen supporter sang. Fikk vi til en bra sang, kunne det vært artig å ha spilt den inn.

Og hvem vet - kanskje en dag så spilles den foran hver Leeds United kamp på Elland Road!

Bare tropp opp på øvingslokalet mitt i Sarp, så fikser vi en liten øving (om noen kan traktere noen andre instrumenter), så setter vi noen huer i kok, øver et par ganger, så har vi et studio rett borti gata her som fikser det bra for en grei penge ;)

Kan traktere gitar og mandolin og vokal. Vi trenger en trommis og bassist. Teksten kan selvsagt alle bli med på her inne.

Har lekt meg litt med en melodi og tekst. Bare refreng:

Takker for tilliten. Det hadde vært fett å få til dette. Eg e med! Kan gjerne komme med alternativ. Eg e best på melodi delen. Så dersom noen e bra på tekst så kan eg gjerne komme med melodi forslag.[:D]

Skal jeg komme med et innspill, så ville det være at sangen enten burde være på norsk eller handle om en nordmanns forhold til Leeds...

Her har vi en fotballåt jeg lagde på noen minutter. Nei - jeg har ikke blitt Oldham fan, men denne sangen er til ære for playstationspilleren Ivan Javier Geni som spiller på Oldham i sesongen 2028/2029 på spillet This Is Football (TIF)..

Noen som fortsatt synes dette er en spennende idè?

Hva med å få Christer Falck til å produsere og spille inn sangen? Dette skal jo være et dugnadsarbeid! Og når sangen er ferdiginnspilt, bærer det til Elland Road for å spille sangen for publikum. De kan selsvagt ikke si nei når landet hvor det kommer mest supportere fra, foruten Storbritannia, har laget sin egen Leedssang.

SÃ...: Hvem vil bli berømt og spille sin egen Leedssang foran 30.000 tilskuere på Elland Road?

Imponerende flynn. Og langt i fra klisjeaktig som 99% av supportersangene blir. I mitt hode hører jeg samme slentrende stemme som på "The tale of Billy Bremner". Dette må jo bli en visesang :)

Prøvde å gjøre starten mer "timeless" (90-årssitatet gjør jo sangen bare aktuell et år eller to  :)) Samme forsåvidt med sisteverset, men det er lettere å justere etterhvert...
Og så gjorde jeg om blodet vårt til "kongelig blått blod" så mange slapp å blande inn den "fæle" rødfargen  :)

Kan vel alltids gi bassen en mulighet selv om det i utgangspunktet er gitar som er favoritten..

En meget bra tekst, flynn! Hører for meg en irsk-inspirert melodi på denne, i hvert fall rent rytmisk. Ser at det har meldt seg en bassist her, så jeg får være stand-in hvis det skulle oppstå behov. Men vi trenger vel horder til å bistå med massiv koring på refrenget?

Likte teksten din, flynn! Ser at noen har hørt for seg noe irsk-aktig, det samme gjør jeg. Jeg spiller tin whistle og trekkspill (foruten piano og gitar), og blir gjerne med på et innspillingsprosjekt. Oppfatter at det ikke finnes noe melodiforslag ennå, så ser jeg om jeg kan få til noe neste uke.

Synes absolutt vi skal gå for flynns solide tekst. Har prøvd å komme på melodi, men det er ikke så lett. En typisk vise-tekst føler jeg, og viser er ikke min sterkeste side vil det vise seg.

Fant en liten melodi til refrenget, men den ble vel hard til å være visesang. Vi må legge hodene i bløt folkens.

Fint at dere liker sangen karer! Jeg har noen melodilinjer i hodet, men særlig originale kan de ikke sies å være. Dessuten vet jeg knapt opp ned på en note, så det er nok best om noen av dere som musiserer i det daglige kan tonesette den...

Har desverre ingen mulighet til å dra til Drammen lørdag  :(
Dere som eventuelt kommer får fikse en bra melodi, før dere drar og ser Norges soleklart beste lag for tiden.
