The Scratching Shed predictions league works like most others in that you predict the result and the first goalscorer of our next fixture and are rewarded points based on accuracy.
Exact prediction = 10pts
This is a combination of correct scoreline and first Leeds United goalscorer. So for example, if you predicted Leeds United to win 1-0 with Becchio scoring first and that was indeed the result then you'd get maximum points. If you predicted a scoreline without a Leeds United goalscorer (for example a 1-0 loss) and were correct, you would also earn maximum points.
Correct Score = 5pts
Correctly predict the exact scoreline
Correct result = 3pts
This differs from correct score in that the amount of goals each team score can be different from your prediction, but the result remains the same - ie. Leeds United win, draw or loss.
Correct first goalscorer = 5pts
This is pretty self-explanatory, although it should be noted that we are only looking for the first Leeds United goalscorer. If you don't expect Leeds United to score at all, you can still be awarded the points by predicting just that.
Points will be tallied up following each game and added to a league table to determine the overall winner over the course of the 2011-12 season. There are no rules as such, other than we only accept predictions made before kick-off (regardless of how good your excuse may be)

Spennende, Tom.
