Ridsdale set to reveal all
Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale is to publish a book detailing the spectacular rise and fall of Leeds during his controversial reign at Elland Road.
Ridsdale spent over six years as Leeds chairman before he quit the club's board in March 2003 and has commented publicly in the past on his controversial reign.
However, this will be the first time he has given a definitive account of the period that he would later describe as "living the dream" as Leeds tried to break into European football's elite before their catastrophic decline.
The book's synopsis says: ""United We Fall" is the unique story of life inside football, told from behind-the-scenes of one of Britain's most legendary clubs - Leeds United.
"It is also the true story of the childhood fan who became chairman of his Premiership team. Peter Ridsdale, one of the game's most controversial and colourful figures, oversaw the most dramatic and talked-about period in Leeds United's history.
"In this compelling account, he writes about how the dream spectacularly unravelled when the club went into financial meltdown."
