According to the latest reports from the Sun, Leeds United are among a host of clubs who are vying for the signature of Rangers ace Glen Kamara. The Finnish international joined the Ibrox outfit in the 2019 January window, and he has established himself as an integral option in midfield for Gerrard. Along with the Whites, Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Aston Villa are also said to be interested.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United have made contact with Southampton over the transfer of Che Adams.

It has been reported that Championship club Leeds are interested in signing Adams from Premier League outfit Southampton in the January transfer window.

The West Yorkshire outfit reportedly wants to secure the services of the 23-year-old forward on a loan deal as a replacement for striker Eddie Nketiah, who has been recalled by his parent club Arsenal from his loan spell at Elland Road.

Leeds United defender Laurens de Bock will today arrive in Greece at around 10.15am local time, according to Greek website Sdna.Gr.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered reports from Greece that Aris are looking to seal a loan deal for the 26 year old and Sdna now claim the player will soon join the club.

According to their information, De Bock will sign for the Greek side on a season-long loan deal but Aris will have the option to make the transfer permanent for â,¬500K. If Aris use this option, then the Belgian will join the club on a two-year contract at the end of his loan spell.

Leeds United are ready to offer the promise of a long-term contract to centre-forward target Facundo Colidio in a bid to beat Newcastle United to his signature, Football Insider understands.
A Leeds source has told Football Insider that the club are keen on signing Colido but know they have work to do to convince him to sign, especially as Newcastle have greater resources as well as Premier League status.

One thing in the Championship club’s favour is they can offer a clearer pathway to first-team football, with Newcastle likely to hand him a place in their Under-23s set-up instead.

Now, it has been claimed that Leeds United are due to hold talks with Inter over their interest in young Argentine starlet Facundo Colidio, with Premier League side Newcastle United also credited with interest in the highly-rated striker. The two clubs are said to hold “genuine interest” in the youngster and talks will take place to see if a proposed deal could take place.

Colidio is one of Inter’s most highly-coveted youngsters, having paid £8.5 million in the January transfer window to bring him to Italy from Argentine giants Boca Juniors, where he hadn’t even made a senior appearance before leaving the club for a hefty fee.

Leeds United maintain 'not for sale' stance as talk of Qatari investment intensifies

Leeds United have again poured cold water on reports that Andrea Radrizzani is in discussions to sell a stake in the club to the Qatari owners of Paris Saint-Germain.
The New York Times claimed today that Radrizzani was meeting with the head of Qatar Sports Investments for advanced discussions about a deal to pass a shareholding in United to the state-owned fund.

QSI’s interest in buying into Leeds was first revealed last month and the group is understood to be keen to move into English football having controlled PSG for the past eight years.

Radrizzani and QSI’s chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, are long-time friends and associates and despite Leeds attempting to quell talk of an imminent offer from Qatar a week ago, fresh speculation about the intentions of QSI resurfaced this afternoon.

United have made no official comment but sources at Elland Road reiterated Radrizzani’s stance that a majority stake in the club is not for sale and denied that concrete negotiations were ongoing with any party.

Leeds, however, have received approaches from various parties in recent months and indicated that Radrizzani would be open to any proposal which he considered to be beneficial to the success of the club.

QSI has the backing of the cash-rich Gulf state and possesses wealth far in excess of Radrizzani’s. The group has spent heavily, without success, in an attempt to help PSG win the Champions League but is said to be looking at new horizons in European football, with a specific aim to invest in England.

Radrizzani, who became 100 per cent owner of Leeds after taking over from fellow Italian Massimo Cellino in 2017, relinquished a minority shareholding last summer when the San Francisco 49ers bought into Leeds for £11m.

Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reportedly entered talks to buy out Leeds United.

The chairman of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) is scheduled to meet Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani on Monday in order to discuss the sale of the Yorkshire-based club.

Billionaire Al-Khelaifi took over the reins at PSG back in 2011, turning them into European giants and spending over £300 million to sign both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Now, according to L'Equipe, the 45-year-old has his sights set on taking over at Elland Road and will include incumbent manager Marcelo Bielsa in this week's negotiations.

POTENTIAL LEEDS TAKEOVER

However, Leeds are now looking the most likely option and with Al-Khelaifi growing frustrated with PSG's struggles in Europe, they are desperate for a breakthrough in England.

They won't be without competition, though, as Leeds are currently holding discussions with as many as six different potential investors as well as QSI.

Any potential agreement would provide a massive boost to Leeds' finances and also give the opportunity for PSG to blood players out on loan in the Championship.

Iturraspe on Leeds' radar

El Gol report that Leeds United are keen on Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Iturraspe.

The midfielder is out of contract this summer and Rayo Vallecano are said to be keen.

Yet the 30-year-old has also attracted interest from Marcelo Bielsa, who he played under for two seasons with Bilbao.

Aldri :)

Leeds United and Swansea City fans in meltdown for different reasons as Daniel James move edges closer
#89
https://thisisfutbol.com/2019/01/blogs/james-move-could-cost-2m-loan-fee/

Leeds may have to pay £2million to loan Daniel James for the rest of the season, according to BBC Wales journalist Dafydd Pritchard.
He made the claim on his personal Twitter page on Thursday morning.

He said the £2million loan fee would then lead to a permanent transfer if Leeds got promoted, worth more than £10million with add-ons.

This is double the £1million fee that was reported by the Sun’s transfer expert Alan Nixon earlier on Thursday.
