Waccoe er rimelig samstemt i dag, forsvaret vårt er fortsatt woeful, midtbanen får heller ikke særlig ære (bortsett fra Delphs 2.omgang), mens spissene våre var skarpe i dag.
Redd det har noe for seg, det de sier. I lengden blir vi straffet for slikt forsvarsspill...

Lucas - 6 – Can’t really remember him making a save.
Hughes – 5 – Some good crosses, but appalling defensively.
Michalik – 6 – Some good tackles, but roughed up by Kyle too regularly.
Telfer – 5 – At fault for the goal and lacking in pace.
Parker – 6 – Another sound performance, but at times tucked in too close to Telfer, which is understandable.

Lucas 6 - Come to think of it, I can't really remember seeing him.
Hughes 7 - Surprisingly good crosses when given space in the first half. 2 assists to his name.
Michalik 6 - A couple of well-timed last ditch tackles, but how someone of his size loses so many headers and physical challenges, I don't know.
Telfer 5 - Too slow, doesn't seem convinced in himself like he did in his first couple of games.
Parker 7 - Not convincing defensively, but very encouraging going forward. Some excellent crosses in the second half that weren't attacked.

Hughes – 6 – not a RB IMO but put some v good balls in and worked v hard
Michalik – 6 – thought he did well today. saving tackle 1st half
Telfer – 5 – sick of him TBH, not good enough and never will be
Parker – 6 – did well again, got forward well. tbf delph went wandering and when robbo went out to the left he wasn't gonna get much help from him either

Telfer was at fault for their goal again and I lost count of number of times Ben Parker was out of position

I'm glad someone else has noticed Parker's wandering. I thought I was going mad.

A great result and some excellent finishing. We could have scored a few more but we were lucky to only conceded one goal – they could easily have got 2 or 3.
Lucas – 6 – Despite a number of very close shaves, he didn’t really have a lot to do.
Hughes – 5 – Some very good crosses in the first half – including the first goal – but woeful defensively; more or less disappeared in the second half and if Hartlepool had been a better team he would have cost us at least 2 goals.
Michalik – 6 – Fairly solid but some wild sky-high clearances. Not yet the player he was.
Telfer – 7 – At last, someone who behaves like the captain. He was solid enough but he was occasionally put under extreme pressure by the shortcomings of Hughes and to a lesser extent Parker.
Parker – 6 – He’s developing well but he is sometimes to eager to get forward and leave us exposed at the back.

Agree with you, Parker has done ok & looks better going forward but defensively goes missing & looks vunerable. I still think the young lad White looks a more solid defender.
Telfer has completely lost his way & is getting caught out with much regularality with every game.
Although you can ask questions about all our defenders whoever plays. I noticed today both Beckford & Becchio were coming back to help the defense during the 2nd half , credit to the front two with their determination & efforts to ensure that we won the game today.

Ok parker does get caught out but when was the last time a midfielder was there to help him? it is Ian Harte all over again, lazy LM

Lucas - 6 - Never really had a proper save to make
Hughes - 6 - Turned like a steam engine, Frazer back on Tuesday please, maybe if Hughes didn't warm up for 3 days he wouldn't look so shagged
Telfer - 6 - Good play, bad play, the usual story
Michalik - 6.5 - Showed he can tackle today, and the odd header, however he still runs towards the ball wherever it may be rather than holding his position
Parker - 6.5 - Similarly to Michalik he fails to often to hold his position, I'd like to Sheehan back in asap

Michalik: 7 - More authoritive, but tried his best to score OG of the season
Telfer: 5 - Fast turning into the horror I feared back when first hearing his name linked with Leeds
Parker: 6 - Great runs going forward but caught out of position on numerous occasions & far too easy to get past

Thought Parker had a great game so did Eddie Gray, if he is bombing forward the centre back should cover, thats when he goes missing, how can he defend at the same time when hes around their 18 yard box unless he is superman ?

Hughes...7 Some good deliveries, went forward well in the first half but got caught out a couple in the second. Not a RB so fair do's to the lad.
Michalik..6 Looked uncomfortable at times, particularly on the ball.
Telfer.....6 Lost out in the air and bullied at times but some good last ditch tackles may have saved us the points.
Parker....8 Superb display, good defensively and good going forward.
