Ingen egen tråd på Rio Ferdinand - og eg oppretter ingen nå...
Han forlot oss så altfor tidlig, men vi MÅTTE nok selge osv...
Men han har vært så altfor stille om tiden hos oss.
Inntil nå.
Rio Ferdinand on the distinct advantage Leeds United dressing room had over Manchester UnitedThe former Whites' defender paid a visit to his old club this weekBy Ricky Charlesworth 16:30, 26 SEP 2020
Rio Ferdinand has Premier League and Champions League winners' medals and has represented England 81 times.
But he says that his brief but successful time with Leeds United is where he enjoyed his football the most.
Ferdinand was at Leeds for just 20 months - from November 2000 to July 2002 - before his infamous big-money move across the Pennines to Manchester United.
Despite winning a plethora of competitions at Old Trafford, it was Elland Road where Ferdinand says he had the most enjoyment.
Ferdinand visited Leeds' Thorp Arch facility earlier this week and speaking to BT Sport ahead of the Whites' trip to Sheffield United on Sunday, he said: "I probably had my most enjoyable football here, for the short time I was here.
"I loved it at West Ham but we didn't win that much.
"I loved it at Man United where we won a lot.
"But with that came a lot of pressure so the enjoyment factor wasn't as free-spirited as it was when I was here at Leeds where we won a fair amount in terms of games.
"We got to some good heights. There wasn't that added pressure or expectations with it.
"We were all young lads who socialised together.

He added: “(They were) Amazing. The noise that used to be generated in there, the fans, the passion.
"I was talking to Rodrigo before and he was saying ‘yeah I heard about the fans and whatnot’ I’m sure they can’t wait to get involved when the fans are back in the place, but they were great.
"I scored a goal, the third goal I think it was against Deportivo at Elland Road, a header, and nights like that, that was one of my best memories here at the club probably.”
