The Seagulls were in action last night when they lost 1-0 at Manchester City as their winless run in the Premier League stretched to nine matches.
Going into the clash at the Etihad, Brighton were already without Tariq Lamptey, Aaron Connolly, Danny Welbeck and Adam Lallana, with that quartet all set to miss out against Leeds.
Now, Potter has revealed that he has lost midfielder Alireza Jahanbakhsh and goalkeeper Jason Steele to injury and illness respectively.
"[Alireza has a] bit of a feeling after the game against Newport County so we will see how he settles down over the next few days," Potter said after the defeat at Man City.
On goalkeeper Steele, who saved four penalties in their shootout win over Newport in the FA Cup at the weekend, he added: "Illness. I think he got a bit excited with all the penalties he saved and he feels a bit ill now."
