Bates relasjon til Dennis Wise er godt omtalt på dette forumet tidligere, men om så galt skulle skje at Blackwell skulle få sparken, kan det være greit å holde seg oppdatert på hva Wise bedriver:

Dennis Wise er nyansatt manager i Swindon - som er den store opprykksfavoritten fra CC league 2. Han har tatt med seg den gamle Chelseastjernen Gustavo Poyet som (spillende?) assistant manager, og preseason-signalene fra Wiltshire kan tyde på at Swindon går mot en stor sesong.

Bare nevner det - i tilfelle Swindon vinner league 2 i suveren stil, og Leeds får en ny sesong uten suksess....

For meg er Dennis Wise et ikke-tema...

Er vel ingen tvil om at Kenny liker mannen, mens Leeds-fansen misliker han. Jeg likte personlig spillertypen Dennis Wise, men tror ikke på han som manager. Og siden Bates' status blant Leeds' supportere er heller tvilsom, hvorfor skulle han sette seg i gapahuken frivillig, ved å sparke Blackie for å ansette Dennis Wise?

Han må da være wisere enn det? [:p] (unnskyld...)

Strachan denied any interest in signing Darren Huckerby, despite watching him for Norwich against Falkirk on Saturday.

"I just went along to see him. I went to see how many times he was caught offside and he didn't let me down," Strachan joked.
