Howson, Ameobi, Elliott, Rothery, Carole. Bedre å bruke noen av disse enn å hente inn en spiss som ikke engang får trent med laget. Er Elliott fortsatt skadet forresten?

Coventry City are to loan Wayne Andrews to Leeds United. The striker signed from Palace last season has scored four times for the reserves this season but his first team outings have been limited to a five minute run-out as a substitute against Bristol City.

De Vries On The Move
Posted on: Mon 01 Oct 2007

Leicester City striker Mark De Vries has today joined League One outfit Leeds United for a one-month loan period.

The move comes after making eight appearances for the Foxes this term and scoring one goal.

De Vries, 32, was placed on the transfer list in June, but fought his way into starting line-up.

The Dutch striker started the first four league games of the current campaign, but was substituted at half-time in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

DUO JOIN UP
Leeds United Opportunities

Strikers Wayne Andrews and Mark De Vries have joined the club on loan.

Wayne has joined on a one-month loan from Championship outfit Coventry City while Mark has also joined on a one-month loan from Leicester City.

The 29-year-old, Wayne who had loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City last season, has featured just once for the Sky Blues this term.

Ironically, Wayne also lists Tuesday's opponents Oldham Athletic among his former clubs, having scored 11 goals in 36 appearances for the Latics during the 2002-03 season.

Dutchman Mark, who started his career FC Volendaam, averaged almost one goal every two games during a three-year stint with Hearts before moving south of the border.

Mark has been a regular figure for Leicester this season and scored his only goal of the campaign in the 4-1 win over Watford in August.

The new loan men will go straight into the squad for Tuesday's trip across the Pennines with Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol both serving a one-match ban.
