Synd med Klitch egentlig. Skaden i pre-season som ødela mye for han.
Nydelig overblikk og pasningsfot. Hadde gjerne sett han fortsette denne sommeren, men tror nok han blir solgt pga Foreshaw. De blir vel litt for like de to.

Hverken Klich eller Forshaw er duell eller pasnings-sterke. Så det ville blitt heavy metal-football mot målet vårt i stedenfor.

Klich er en ballstrøer med oversikt (derfor han blir kalt "The Penetrator" og ikke "The Rapist"), han er ingen høyt press og heavy metal type. Hvis alle de andre hadde vært det så hadde han også sikkert klare å kjøre Klopp-press.

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich, who is currently on loan at FC Utrecht, came close to an astonishing Eredivisie record at the weekend - but does it signal hope of a revival at Elland Road?


Here's an in-depth look at his 2017/18 stats:

Record

The former Poland international created 11 chances in a single game last weekend in the Eredivise against Heracles Almelo, which is the most in the Dutch top flight since Christian Eriksen produced 14 for Ajax in November 2012.

The game ended 2-2 as Klich helped his side fightback to earn a 2-2 draw providing one assist.

His Leeds United story...

The 27-year-old arrived last summer in England with a strong reputation, the Whites parted with £1.5m to land their man and handed him a deal until 2020.

Klich though struggled to make much of an impact in West Yorkshire before being loaned out to Utrecht in January after making just nine appearances and totalling 131 minutes of Championship action.

Former United boss Thomas Christiansen shipped the midfielder out after deciding the likes of Eunan O'Kane, Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira were ahead of him in the pecking order at Thorp Arch.

Conclusion

Given his production rate in the Eredivisie it is clear for all to see that there is a real player in Klich if utilised correctly.

He was left out in the cold at Elland Road by Christiansen and you could argue that he wasn't given a real opportunity to prove himself. There is no getting away from the fact that the demands of the Championship physically are much greater than that of the Dutch top flight but, similarly to other players in the squad, it feels as if his transition into English football wasn't dealt with in the best manner.

Klich was also one of the victims of United's fateful day at Newport County in January but before that did earn praise among fans for his League Cup showing at Burnley earlier in the season.

What Leeds do next is the key question.

Given the money invested and the belief in bringing him to the club in the first place it is difficult to ignore the case being made by his performances in Holland.

United have struggled to control games since the New Year and there is no doubt that the Whites midfield on a whole haven't produced enough at the right end this campaign, which Klich is certainly making a habit of at Utrecht.

Although his struggles were clear for all to see during his stint in West Yorkshire, Paul Heckingbottom could do much worse than take a real look at his abilities before making any final decision over whether his future lies elsewhere.

He could, after all, be the answer to partnering Adam Forshaw in the centre of the park next season.

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich, who is currently on loan at FC Utrecht, has revealed that former Whites manager Thomas Christiansen stopped speaking to him and says he has "unfinished business" at the club.


The 27-year-old arrived at Elland Road last summer with the hope of breaking into English football. The Whites parted with £1.5m to land their man and handed him a deal until 2020 but the former Polish international struggled to make much of an impact in West Yorkshire.

Klich found himself on the outside looking in before being loaned out to Dutch side Utrecht in January after making just nine appearances and totalling 131 minutes of Championship action.


Former United boss Christiansen, who was sacked in February following a poor run of results, decided the likes of Eunan O'Kane, Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira were ahead of him in the pecking order at Thorp Arch.

The midfielder though has pinpointed his slip during the 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City, which led directly to a goal, as the moment his campaign ended at United revealing that then boss Christiansen failed to speak to him following in the incident.


"I slipped in the next league, literally, though I was optimistic after the transfer to Leeds, who really wanted me," Klich told Polish website SportoweFakty.

"When I started to play fairly regularly, there was an unfortunate match against Cardiff. I badly picked shoes and during one of the actions I slipped on the pitch, I lost the ball and the opponents went with the counter that brought them a goal.

"Officially, the manager Thomas Christiansen did not say anything to me, but then he stopped practically speaking to me and did not call me into the team for the next matches. I could have guessed that it was about this situation."


Klich though has been a instrumental figure since moving to Utrecht and notched his first goal of the season during the weekend 1-0 win over VVV-Venlo. He will now lead the Eredivisie side into a play-off against Heerenveen with the winner earning a place in the Europa League next season but he has reiterated his desire to fight for his spot at Thorp Arch this coming pre-season.

håper han kommer tilbake og får en pre-season uten skader. bor ufattelig mye fotball i fyren. Skal vi spille med 3 på midten neste sesong bør det absolutt være mulig å balansere han inn i dette laget.
tror han kan bli en prima spiller på dette nivået.
han jevner ut litt manglende fysikk og tempo med meget god spillerforståelse og pasningsfot.
vi trenger spillere som tør å ha kula. kan ikke legge 46 kamper i kurven til Pablo og håpe han tryller frem 2-3 mål i hver kamp.
