Et fint innlegg fra Waccoe som jeg har lyst til å dele med dere her inne:
When you understand that Biesla has final authority over every transfer, incoming or outgoing. When you realise that absolutely nothing happens without Biesla's approval. When you see the details that Leeds needed to agree to before Biesla agreed to exercise the option of a second year, including the length and curvature of a newly installed running track, new timers on the upgraded swimming pool to allow for different temperatures at different times of the day, newly installed cameras to record training sessions and an app on Biesla's phone so that he can watch all sessions even when not at the ground, not only the quality of hotels when playing away but also the distance from the ground, and refurbishing the changing rooms at Thorp Arch so that they mirror exactly the changing rooms at Elland Road.
When you understand all this it gives you a different perspective.
I was surprised that Pontus left. But Biesla made that decision last season. I was concerned when he was replaced by White. Until I saw White play. I was indifferent to Harrison returning until I saw him in pre-season.
I won't be surprised to see Roofe leave. He won't sign a new contract and Biesla has highlighted his concerns about our profligacy in front of goal last season. Any replacement will be from a shortlist that Biesla prepared last season, from the same shortlist as Dan James. Biesla will only be disappointed that the replacement will not have had a Biesla pre-season.
When you understand all this. And remember how close we came last season. How the development squad and under 18's were astounding last season and will be a source of talent for years to come.
And when you consider that this was all achieved in 12 months then you may understand why I am feeling fantastically excited about the new season.
