Puncheon may follow Hatch"We don't have to sell."
That was the message from Barnet manager Paul Fairclough on the eve of the January transfer window.
But he warned: "Every player has a price."
And, with Liam Hatch set to join Peterborough United for £150,000 (Fairclough has already found a replacement in Histon target man Cliff Akurang) and
Jason Puncheon a target for Leeds United, Barnet fans may be saying goodbye to at least two favourites in the next few weeks.
Fairclough, speaking after the Boxing Day win over Dagenham & Redbridge, said of
Puncheon that there were Premier League scouts at Underhill almost every week earlier in the season, though Leeds are the only side to have expressed an interest in recent days.
But he suggested Puncheon's hat-trick on Boxing Day may have given others a reminder of just what the talented winger can do."We don't want to lose any player," Fairclough stressed, "but we have to look at each situation and see what happens."
Hatch refused to sign a new contract in the summer. The Bees turned down an offer from Shrewsbury Town earlier in the season, but now the striker will definitely be leaving Underhill when the transfer window opens next week.

Footballer in robbery arrest Barnet midfielder: Jason Puncheon Barnet midfielder Jason Puncheon has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a woman in Croydon earlier this year.
The 20-year-old was arrested on Saturday afternoon in the Barnet area by police officers who questioned him about the robbery of a 48-year-old woman in Lodge Lane, Croydon, on June 6.
It is believed the victim was approached from behind and her handbag was stolen.
Croydon-born Mr Puncheon missed Barnet's 3-3 draw with his former club Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday, the day of his arrest, because of suspension after he was sent off against Bury last month.
Police have confirmed a 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the Lodge Lane robbery investigation.
He was bailed to return to a London police station at a later date pending further inquiries by South Norwood Robbery Squad.
A Barnet spokesman said Mr Puncheon was helping police with their enquiries.
