LUFC Rachubka returns to Elland Road
Accrington Stanley have confirmed that Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Rachubka has returned to Elland Road.
Stanley have decided to allow Rachubka to return to Leeds after they lost their appeal against his sending off against Plymouth Argyle last weekend.
The experienced goalkeeper was given a three-match ban for violent conduct after putting his face into the face of Plymouth player Nick Chadwick.
Rachubka joined Stanley at the start of the month after a long-term injury to their regular number one Ian Dunbavin and with only an 18-year-old rookie left on the books at the Crown Ground.
Stanley decided to bring in another goalkeeper on an emergency loan on the morning of the game with Rotherham United on Saturday. Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford joining them on a seven-day loan deal.
Rachubka made six appearances for the League Two side during his stay.
Leeds boss Neil Warnock will be hoping to offload the 31-year-old goalkeeper in January. Rachubka was placed on the transfer list at the end of last season and he is out of contract at Elland Road in the summer.
