Leeds United are keen to make a season-long loan move for 22-year-old Manchester United midfielder Davide Petrucci, according to FLW sources.
Leeds are targeting a season-long loan move for Petrucci
Petrucci has made no appearances for the United first-team and has spent most of his time shipped out on-loan at different clubs.
The 22-year-old has had experience of playing in the Football League, making four appearances for Peterborough United in 2013 in a loan move, and then amassing five appearances for Charlton Athletic last season.
Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is eager to add more players to his squad before the end of the summer transfer window, and is eyeing a move for the Italian midfielder.
The Italian joined the Old Trafford club in 2008 from Serie A side Roma, however has found first-team action hard to come by, and Petrucci is all but set to leave Louis Van Gaal’s side on loan.
