Massimo Cellino could be on the verge of sacking his fourth manager in only seventh months
It has been reported that current owner Massimo Cellino is running out of patience with boss Neil Redfearn and is mulling the idea of sacking his fourth manager in only seven months, it is reported.
After five defeats in only seven matches it’s believed that Cellino is growing increasingly frustrated and is contemplating the idea of bringing in someone new to take the helm at Elland Road.
Redfearn was appointed in November after three separate spells as caretaker after succeeding Darko Milanic, whose reign lasted little over a month.
However, it has hardly been a romantic time in charge for Redfearn and after a horrible spell the Whites now sit only one point clear of the relegation zone heading into 2015.
Cellino has already dispensed with Brian McDermott, Dave Hockaday and Milanic during his tempestuous spell as owner at Elland Road.
Cellino currently has bigger problems to deal with as he appears before the Football League in a little over two weeks. He is appealing against his disqualification for breaching the “fit and proper person†ownership test.
Leeds travel to Sunderland on Sunday and while defeat is a likely outcome, there will have no repercussions, it will be the trip to Bolton in the league after that could decide Redfearn’s future at Elland Road
