Litt fra WACCOE:
Kenny - 7
Byram -7
Lees 7
Pearce - 7
Warnock - 7
Austin - 7
Mowatt - 7
Kebe - 7 second half 8
Stewart 8
Murphy 8
McCormack 10
Edited to say Stewart continued from Tuesday night. Kebe was outstanding second half always wanted the ball and was a constant threat. Good to see us have two potentially decent wingers. Luke Murphy back to his best today and Ross was just Ross.

Alex Smithies - 10. f**king love this lad. Always falls apart against us. He'll be back on the psychiatrist's couch Monday morning. :lol2:

Yep, Lees was atrocious unfortunately. No quells in dropping him for Marius. Shame that Lees hasn't progressed. Looked unconfident and all too happy to hoof at every opportunity.
Disappointed with Warnock, big fan of his but today he didn't seem at the races.
Still not fond of Stewart but everyone else not mentioned can be proud of that performance in the second half.

Byram was MOTM despite Ross' hattrick. The interception he made in the first half when Ward tried to square it to Wells was top notch. Looks back to fitness now and the player we know he can be.
Special mentions for Murphy, Stewart and Kebe too. Kept us ticking along and the two wingers actually got at their men and got balls into the box.
First half, we were poor, but 2nd half it was men against boys

Paddy 6
Byram 8 back to last years form
Lees 5 scared EVERYTIME he gets it and hoofs it
Pearce 7 did a job
Warnock 5 git caught out a few times 1st half
Murphy 8 especially second half
Austin 8 see above
Mowatt 6 but superb goal
Kebe 8 scared them shitless esp second half
Stewart 7 frustrates me as he can do it but chooses only a few occasions in a match to do so
Ross 10 MOTM

Hard to give ratings due to the monumental difference in 1st half and 2nd half performances.
Kenny - 7 - Didn't do much wrong, his kicking had no chance in the wind today. Made one good save but wasn't tested that much.
Byram - 8 - First half got caught out a lot and Ward gave him a hard time but made two vital last ditch tackles. Second half was as good as he ever was last year. Him and Kebe terrorised them.
Lees - 6 - Needs to be given some slack due to the conditions but he did seem to get caught under the ball a lot. Dodgy a few times with the ball at his feet.
Pearce - 6 - Similar to Lees.
Warnock - 6 Not his best game but they didn't get anywhere near as much out of him than they did Byram in the first half.
Mowatt - 7 - Struggled first half but came into it second a bit more like the team. Took his goal very well.
Murphy - 9 - Thought he was class today, first half him and McCormack were the ones to come out with any credit. Ran the game second half. If he can put a run of performances like that together than we'll be much better off.
Austin - 7 - Thought he was way too quiet in the first but was at his best in the second. Didn't stop running and made good decisions on the ball at the right time.
Kebe - 8 - Seemed to be a lot more driven in after the break. DId a lot more work defensively and some great play between him, McCormack and Byram. Very good goal.
Stewart - 6/7 - Can't decide what to give him, decision making can be poor and is f**king awful at stepovers. Getting better though and did well for McCormack's hattrick goal. Should have scored early on. Did his bit.
McCormack - 10 - Simply faultless. I didn't think he had it in him to play like that on his own up front but everytime the ball got to his feet he made something happen. A fantastic, committed performance. MOTM.

Did everyone miss fact Stewart was at fault for their goal? Lost ball and we paid for it. Got over it though and then played well. Poor tom seem to think Wells was something special and shit himself every time he was about.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kenny - don't think he can blamed for the goal, but was almost caught out with a few corners in the first half, slightly fortunate to get away without conceding another.
Byram - first half he was getting caught out in behind a bit too often, but his second half performance was brilliant the third goal was Sam at his best, also had some good link up play with Kebe on the right throughout, improved defensively too. -7.5
Lees - still not at his best but better in possession, bar one sloppy pass first half. The movement of the front two caused both cbs problems first half but like Byram improved in the second.-6.5
Pearce - in possession he was guilty of a few too many long balls but with the wind I will let him off, like Lees was struggling with the movement of the front two early on but improved. 6.5
Warnock - another mixed display the only worries in the second half came down his side, just seems to switch off and they seemed to target him. 6
Mowatt - cool finish, grew in confidence as the game went on he's improving steadily. -7
Murphy - best performance in a while. Although the team were under pressure in the first half he was the one trying to play. Needs to put a consistent run together of this level. -8.5
Kebe - lovely goal, was nice to see him come inside and link up with Ross and it wasn't the only time. Second half he played like the Kebe the year reading went up. Worked hard pressing too. 8
Austin - second half outstanding played like a captain, he was everywhere this is I prefer to see him this high up the pitch. Needs to work on his lifting
. -8
Stewart - mistake lead to the first goal but held his hand up and missed the best chance of the first half, did well on the fourth goal. When playing in the 3 behind he needs to get involved a little more like Krbe did second half. 6.5
McCormack - stepped up today, took some hammer in the first half but kept going and got his rewards. The first goal was so important and the I also liked the finish on his third cooly passed it in. -10
Overall the individual ratings are not too important, the team pulled together for a big 3 points. Proud of them.

Does actually make you think if some people watched the game mate, Byram was awesome, look at his involvement in Ross's goal, Stewart was, well........a slight improvement on Tuesday!
