Få inn den mannen fort som bare FO'Leary open to Elland Road return
Former Leeds United manager David O'Leary has indicated that he would be open to the idea of returning to the Elland Road hotseat.
O'Leary, who managed the Yorkshire club in the Premier League and reached the Champions League semi-finals before their financial implosion, was sacked in 2002.
He has not worked in the UK since being axed by Aston Villa in 2006 and his most recent managerial job came in the United Arab Emirates, where he coached Al-Ahli.
Speaking after the departure of Leeds manager Neil Warnock, O'Leary said he had never wanted to leave and also praised the Leeds fans.
"I still live in the area, and they have been absolutely fantastic," he said. "I'm very flattered that people remember me up there.
"I don't want to influence anyone, but it wasn't my decision to leave and the supporters have always been there for me. That's why I've stayed in the area. It's fantastic place to live."
