En interessant betraktning fra en Waccoer ift Bowen-ryktene som startet i går kveld, og som flere twitrere ytret seg om:
Very important to note the very deliberate responses from said reliable journalists/sources.
YEP (GS) - "Jarrod Bowen is not a player Leeds United are presently pursuing".
In the same tweet it is noted that "things could change".
Mirror (David Anderson) - "Leeds have not bid for Hull's Jarrod Bowen".
It has never been stated we had. If we're to believe Nixon, talks are underway and a fee has been mentioned. No formal bid has been submitted.
Sky Sports (Tim Thornton) - "Leeds are not in for Hull forward Jarrod Bowen"
This is the only outright denial. Less than 2 hours later however, he goes on to backtrack and clarify the situation could "change".
It was also caught by a number of posters that Sky Sports were talking about the structure of a deal on their Transfer Centre.
PH (Athletic) - "they like Bowen alot".
Nothing even slightly in the form of a denial from PH who is arguably the most reliable of the lot. There's a mention of "noises" from Hull not wanting to entertain a loan to buy bid, but again, no outright denial.
There's an avoidance of 'rubbishing' the deal completely from all so it may just be that there's something in it.
Wait till we see what "important players" are missing for Hull this weekend. I expect a meltdown if one is Bowen and this story hasn't been put to bed by then.
