LUFC Leeds Transfer Rumours - Week Two Vital Leeds United isl once again be keeping you up to date with all the transfer rumours of the month of January.
Leeds have been hit with a transfer embargo but it doesn`t stop them from bringing in four players on loan and we are already being linked with a whole host of players, mainly from Italy.
Once again this week, Leeds have been linked with players plying their trade in Italy.
Palermo duo Granddi N'Goyi and Sol Bamba have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
N`Goyi is a 26-year-old midfielder who has made just five substitute appearances for the Italian Serie A side this season. The former French under-21 international has spent the past two seasons with Palermo having started out at Paris St Germain as well as having spells with Clermont, Troyes, Nantes and Brest.
Bamba is no stranger to British football. The 29-year-old Ivory Coast international, who played at the World Cup finals in Brazil last summer, spent time in Scotland with Dunfermline and Hibernian before spending two-years at Leicester City, where he made 52 appearances. He then spent two-years in Turkey with Trabzonspor before signing for Palermo in the summer. He has struggled during his time at Palermo and he has made just one appearance this season.
Leeds have also been linked with winger Febian Brandy but having struggled to gain regular first team football at his last two clubs Sheffield United and Rotherham United, it would be a surprise move if Leeds were to bring in the former Manchester United youngster.
The last two need no introduction to supporters of Leeds United. Luciano Becchio and Jermaine Beckford were a successful partnership during their time at Elland Road, scoring 171 goals between them.
The pair have both spent time away from their parent clubs recently and there is definitely some legs in the Becchio rumours with Leeds coach Neil Redfearn admitting he is interested in the Argentinian who score 86 goals in 221 appearances in his previous spell with Leeds.
Redfearn refused to be drawn on the Beckford rumours in his press conference on Thursday. Beckford is currently on loan at Preston North End from parent club Bolton Wanderers. The striker netted 85 goals in 152 appearances during his first stint at Elland Road.
On to players being linked with a move away from Leeds.
17-year-old Lewis Cook is reportedly gaining plenty of interest from the Premier League. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly interested in signing the Leeds youngster.
Fellow youngster Sam Byram continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League during the transfer window. Byram has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs since he burst onto the scene in 2012 and Arsenal are the first to be reportedly interested this month.
Defender Scott Wootton finished his loan spell with Rotherham United on Saturday after making seven appearances and the millers are reportedly keen on taking him on a permanent deal. Fellow championship side Birmingham City are also reportedly keen on Wootton.
One player linked with Leeds in week one will not be joining. Huddersfield winger Danny Ward signed for Rotherham on Friday on an initial loan deal that is expected to be made permanent this week.
