CRYSTAL Palace have denied Jimmy Kebe is on his way to Leeds United in a loan or permanent deal.
Media reports in Yorkshire on Tuesday afternoon have suggested the 29-year-old is on the verge of securing a move to Elland Road from the Eagles.
However, Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has denied the former Reading star is on the move to link-up with his former boss Brian McDermott, but instead is attracting a number of top Championship clubs.
"He's not going on loan anywhere (in particular)", Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has exclusively told the Advertiser.
"There are clubs interested, that's all. Leeds are interested - all the clubs at the top of the Championship are interested.
"We are not looking to send him out on loan anywhere, there has just been a number of Championship clubs.
"We haven't considered whether he's going to go out on loan or if we're going to accept them."
Kebe has struggled to maintain his place in the Palace starting XI this season, playing just six times after joining in the summer.
Boss Tony Pulis may decide to give the Mali international a chance in the second half of the season but he has a tough task of ousting Jason Puncheon, Barry Bannan and Yannick Bolasie in the wide areas.
