Was listening to YEP podcast yesterday - there's a loophole in the transfer window being brought forward.
You can still loan players until the end of August, and you're allowed to do loan-to-permanent deals that can go through on the 1st January 2019.
What a load of bollocks that is. Like they said, you can see clubs still doing a fair bit of business even after the 9th August. At least it means it's not curtains for us on "deadline day".
