Rumours around transfers fly around as thick in the air off the off-season as witches do at Halloween. The latest attributed to Leeds United is that the West Yorkshire club are interested in a trio of players from Portuguese side Nacional, according to media outlet Record.
These players are Salvador Agra, Rui Correia and Ali Ghazal who Record say are “players of Nacional with the highest price in the market, but so far [Nacional] did not reach any concrete proposals to shed any of them.â€
Record then go on to say that there “was disclosed interest from several European clubs,†with Leeds being amongst those mentioned as interested – alongside SPanish side Malaga, French side Rennes and Italian outfit Parma.
Salvador Agra is a £2m-rated winger who knows both where the net is and how to guide others there. Rui Correia is a £750,000-rated centre-back, a position that Leeds United fans realise is an area where strengthening is needed. The last name, Ali Ghazal, is a near-£2m rated defensive midfielder who has increased rapidly in value since Nacional signed him in 2013.
On the following pages is a little look at each of these players, starting first with Salvador Agra – a wing wizard of sorts.
