West Bromwich Albion and Burnley are keeping tabs on Leeds United vice-captain Liam Cooper, according to talkSPORT sources.
The 24-year-old defender joined the Championship outfit from Chesterfield for just £600,000 two years ago, but his consistent performances have alerted potential Premier League suitors.
The reports have emerged amid the latest managerial upheaval at Elland Road, and newly-appointed Whites boss Garry Monk is desperate to hold on to the Hull-born player, having already allowed centre-back Giuseppe Bellusci to leave on loan.
Cooper has made 62 Leeds appearances and skippered the side on a regular basis last season in Sol Bamba's absence.
The former Spireites stopper has two years left on his current deal at Elland Road but has caught the eye of Baggies boss Tony Pulis, who is looking to add to his defensive options.
Newly promoted Burnley are also monitoring events, with the Clarets targeting the former Hull academy product as a possible replacement for defender Michael Keane, who has rejected a new deal at Turf Moor amid interest from Premier League champions Leicester City.
