Leeds United
Rob Green - Green’s been criticised for his handling this season but it was flawless in the periods when Leeds were struggling and helped to take the pressure off. Pulled off a big early save too. 7/10
Luke Ayling - A bit more subdued than he usually is but credit goes to Rotherham for that. Monk’s defence were worked hard for a while. 6/10
Pontus Jansson - Rotherham gave him a difficult time for 45 minutes and Leeds were lucky to be level at the break. The second half was much easier. 7/10
Kyle Bartley - Leeds were not at their best defensively but he came up with some vital challenges at nil-nil and, yet again, he delivered the key goal. 8/10
Gaetano Berardi - Inches away from his first Leeds strike with a run and a shot which would have done Charlie Taylor proud. Taylor might have a job prising him out of the team. 7/10
Liam Bridcutt - Poor in possession before the break and was isolated as a lone midfielder. Like everyone else, grew into the game after half-time and in a different system. 6/10
Pablo Hernandez - Some of his passing is ludicrously good. The initial formation didn’t suit him at all but Monk’s alteration played into his hands. Bartley’s header came from his corner. 8/10
Hadi Sacko - Made no inroads into the left side of Rotherham’s backline and it was the right decision to substitute him. It paid off instantly. 5/10
Kemar Roofe - Put a poor first half behind him and became a menace on the right wing, teeing up Wood’s second with a beautiful cross. 7/10
Souleymane Doukara - Always more dangerous than Sacko and was the only player who looked like doing anything before the interval. 7/10
Chris Wood - On fire. His first finish was superb, relying on touch and strength, and Rotherham had no idea how to handle him when he was in full flow. 8/10
Substitutes:
Ronaldo Vieira (for Sacko, 46) - His arrival allowed Leeds to revert to their usual formation and exert control. 8/10
Stuart Dallas (for Doukara, 72) - Only spent a short time on the field but his driving run earned the free-kick from which Hernandez hit the post. 6/10
Marcus Antonsson (for Wood, 82) - A repeat of so many of his outings. Too brief for him to get properly involved. 5/10
Subs (not used): Marco Silvestri, Tyler Denton, Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips.
Referee: Stephen Martin (Staffordshire) - Very good. Created few moments of controversy and dealt with the odd flashpoint quickly. 8/10
Attendance: 33,397
