Interesting stuff, Karanka was interviewed and a deal agreed ,but he also was interviewed at Crystal Palace and a club in la Liga so wont confirm to Leeds that he will take up their offer till he has heard from the other clubs, it says to me look elsewhere.
Also Monk wasnt responsible for for many of the successful signings we made last year. Jansson was through Clotet , Ayling , O'kane and most of the others where through Cellino's friendship with an ex leeds player who has been scouting for him and made recommendations to the club.
Bartley was about the only choice of Monks that was successful, the like of Grimes ,barrow where his too ,but the rest the clubs.
Plenty money available to apparentlyWhere are you getting this information?
my info is solid, i know the ex leeds player and his family, have met him a few times and know one of his sons well. He was interviewed for a coaching role in Cellino's early days but didnt take the Job but became friends with Cellino and has been advising him on players this year. Just not naming him in case its an illegal practise thats been going on.
Sorry been out, the ex leeds players brother inlaw
solid information not made up.
The source was offered a coaching role at leeds in Cellino's early days but didnt take it but now scouts for him
it will mate , to be fair, it all sounded very positive and like the club has it all in order. Clotet is seen as the real reason for the teams on field performance not monk and they want to keep him. Karanka was/is plan A but has them hanging about whilst he see's if he gets a better offer.
Karanka as manager and Clotet as his assistant sounded good to me.But he's pissing them about
Like i say ,the info was he was plan A, im pretty sure they will be looking against with him not snapping their hand off with their offer
