Leeds are favourites for the title next season, and rightly so, but there seems to be an overwhelming sense of fear around.
Bielsa's back and the youngsters are class. Some thoughts on why next season should be another exciting one for #lufc.

This still won't allay your fears though will it? @Conor_ALTV

Quality in depth gets you promoted, 95% of the time, nice article, but I'm not convinced until we get a couple more quality additions, no.

Funky Rabbit:
Yet Sheff Utd only used 19 players and NCFC 16 last season? We only tested depth due to a horrific injury list
…………….
Nature of the beast is we might get touched by injuries again, Sheffied United barely got any injuries last season and when they did they were able to replace 3 of the top starters with very decent replacements, kept the same XI for the majority of the season so they aren't valid
Exact same argument with Norwich, who switched their entire line up against Leeds then suffered virtually no injuries, Pukki, Steipermann, Beundia, Hernandez, Zimmerman and co all featured, only injury really was Leitner and they had real quality to replace in Vrancic.
…………..
Funky Rabbit:
Whilst I hear your point, I'm not sure we can say that any of the replacements that came in to cover for injuries failed drastically in their roles nor did they result in a formation/tactical switch. It was the amount of switching that was the problem not the people who came in
…………………
They didn't fail drastically but they weren't good enough, well yeah but switching is what having injuries is all about...? You have to switch which will always disrupt things, my point is if that happens again the replacements have to be very good to get out of this division.
……………….
Funky Rabbit:
It's not how Bielsa thinks though. He believes the system functions at a level where any individual can perform a given function and he would rather coach players to this than import new players in. Given a year in this process I'd expect the existing players to be better still
……………….
So, in your opinion then because the players are better, you would think we have sufficient cover at the back? Based on that.
