Preston North End consider summer move for Leeds United striker.
FLW understands that the 23-year-old forward has been identified by Preston boss Simon Grayson as a potential summer acquisition, with the club uncertain as to the future of League One top scorer Joe Garner, who could be the subject of heavy summer interest.
Ajose has failed to cement himself in the starting eleven since joining the Elland Road outfit from Peterborough United in 2014.
The striker has only managed to make three appearances for Neil Redfearn’s Leeds United this season, and he was subsequently offloaded to League One strugglers Crewe Alexandra in January for the remainder of the season.
Ajose has a wealth of experience of plying his trade in England, having had spells at Manchester United, Bury, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Chesterfield, Crawley Town, Swindon Town, Leeds United and Crewe.
Preston are on course for promotion to the Sky Bet Championship, with the side currently sitting in second place on 89 points with one game to go, whilst MK Dons sit in third, one point behind Simon Grayson’s men.
