Michalik was told last summer to actively look for a new club by boss Simon Grayson and he has made his feelings clear this week by saying he wants to stay with the Cumbrian side.
The big Slovakian defender recently spoke in the West Cumberland Times and Star when he said, "I don`t known what`s happening with Leeds but I don`t think they are interested in me staying there so it would be easier for me to stay at Carlisle.
"It is nice to feel wanted. That is a better feeling and I am enjoying training and playing games.
"The manager has been absolutely great and the lads in the changing room have made me feel very welcome."
Grella is also enjoying life at Carlisle and is unsure of his future at Elland Road, speaking on Radio Cumbria, Grella said, 'I haven't heard anything from Leeds but my gut feeling would be that they would want me to stay out somewhere and get games in.
'I'd be happy to come back but football changes quickly.'
Tom Elliott hasn`t enjoyed his loan spell at Rotherham and as come under pressure from Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore after the young striker pulled out of a number of games through a supposed injury.
Elliott has made just seven appearances for the Millers and hasn`t featured since coming off the bench against Oxford in mid November.
The striker is still waiting for his first goal in Rotherham colours.
Tom Lees as recently signed a new two and a half year deal at Elland Road and is enjoying a productive loan spell at League Two promotion chasers Bury.
Lees as been an ever present for Bury making twenty-three appearances for the club and as also chipped in with two goals.
Alan Martin is having his second loan spell at Barrow after spending the 2008/09 season with the non league side when he made twenty seven appearances.
So far this season he`s made twelve appearances but hasn`t featured since the home defeat to Luton Town at the start of October.
Young defender
Liam Darville has made thirteen appearances on loan at Tranmere but hasn`t featured since the end of October.
Aidy White joined Oldham in mid November and made a dream start scoring the winning goal on his debut in a 1-0 win at Dagenham and Redbridge.
He followed that up by scoring on his home debut in a 3-3 draw with Exeter.
White played in Oldham`s next game at Rochdale when they drew 1-1 but the cold weather snap as meant that they haven`t played since.
Leeds only other loan player
Adam Clayton has extended his loan deal at Peterborough until the end of January, as Simon Grayson wants the young midfielder to gain some valuable first team experience.
January as ever is sure to be a busy month in the transfer market and it will be interesting to see whether loans will be extended, some maybe released or sold or they might comeback to fight for a place in the first team.Read more:
