Yet another U-turn in the Nadiem Amiri to Leeds United saga.
Following Leeds’ win over Ipswich, the German is now considering returning to the agreement that he previously had with Leeds and make the permanent move to Elland Road.
Amiri does not want to spend more than one season in the Championship, which was one of his previous concerns after Leeds’ poor start to the season, as well as the fact that his wife is heavily pregnant.
It now seems that after Leeds’ first win of the season, as well as the additions of Joël Piroe, and Gnonto and Sinisterra returning to the fold, Amiri is having a change of heart about his rejection.
Leeds have agreed a €6million deal with Bayer Leverkusen and have agreed to match the players salary, and even increase it upon the event of promotion.
