Former Leeds United striker Mike Grella has signed for League One side Bury on a short-term deal.
The American made 42 appearances during his time at Leeds with 33 of these coming as a substitute.
The striker had loan spells at both Carlisle United and Swindon Town last season as he tried to enjoy regular first team football.
Grella was released by Leeds last August after failing to hold down a regular place in the side during three years at the club.
The 25 year old signed for League One side Brentford following his release by Leeds but he once again struggled to break into the first team making just four starts in seventeen appearances.
Brentford terminated his contract earlier this month allowing him to find another club, with his one highlight during his time with Brentford, scoring four goals in the 6-0 Johnstone`s Paint Trophy win over Bournemouth.
Grella joins Bury in fourteenth place in League One with the club having secured promotion from League Two last season.
