Då står Flavahan klar til å ta over.

Jøss Bruce Dickinson som stopper hadde vært fett, intet hadde våget seg forbi. Ellers så er jo Flavahan selvfølgelig hjertelig velkommen

I'm ready to fight for shirt - Flahavan

Darryl Flahavan is looking forward to a healthy fight with Leeds United's goalkeepers, admitting he has received no promises about first-team selection at Elland Road.
The Crystal Palace player is almost ready to begin his loan at Leeds in earnest after signing for the club while injured, and he will move to Yorkshire knowing that Casper Ankergren is at the front of the queue for the keeper's position.
Ankergren has been the favoured choice throughout Simon Grayson's time as manager at Elland Road, relegating David Lucas to the bench after a five-month spell in which the pair traded places repeatedly, but Grayson was tempted to bring in another alternative last week.
Leeds reached a deal with Palace to sign Flahavan until the end of the season before the Football League's emergency loan deadline on Thursday, despite the fact that the 30-year-old was still recovering from a serious facial injury suffered while playing for Palace's reserves.
The former Southend keeper missed last weekend's game against MK Dons and may also find that this weekend's match at Colchester arrives too soon for him, but he has no expectation of an immediate promotion to the starting line-up upon proving his fitness.
Flahavan said: "I know what the picture is at Leeds and I know that Casper is their number one. He's been playing well from what I've been told and he'll expect to stay where he is."

Flahavan to start training this week

Darryl Flahavan is expected to start training with Leeds this week after being sidelined with a facial injury in February.
Speaking in the YEP boss Grayson said 'He'll be with us next week ready to do some work and to join in the competition for places.'
The Crystal Palace keeper who joined Leeds on the final day of the loan transfer window will add a vast amount of experience to the Leeds side.
Flahavan played over 300 games during his time at Southend United between 2001-2008, during his time with the Shrimpers he won the League One title in 2006 and was also named the League One player of the year in the same season.
The 30 year old will struggle to break straight into the first team with the recent improved performances of usual number one Casper Ankergren.
A lot of this may be down to the signing of defender Sam Sodje who also joined on the final day of the loan transfer window from Reading and is becoming an instant hit with the Leeds faithful with his no nonsense defending.

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock says he has no plans to recall Darryl Flahavan from his loan spell at Leeds United, despite seeing first-choice goalkeeper Julian Speroni sustain a facial injury in Palace's match against Southampton. (YEP)

Keepere som kommer fra Palace har da fungert bra hos oss tidligere.  ;)

Satser på at han er solid erstatter for Casper om han får sjansen.

Keeper Darryl has no regrets

Darryl Flahavan has admitted he does not expect to play any part in the League One play-offs after finding time against him at Elland Road.
The experienced goalkeeper made his first appearance for Leeds United in their reserve-team fixture against Rotherham United on Tuesday night, but the 90-minute outing is likely to prove the sum of his loan with the League One club.
Flahavan transferred to Leeds from Crystal Palace at the end of March, joining United until the end of the term, but his prolonged recovery from a severe facial injury has prevented him from mounting a serious challenge to first-choice keeper Casper Ankergren.
The 30-year-old intends to remain with United throughout the play-offs, which begin a week tomorrow, and insisted he still considers his move to Leeds a worthwhile experience, but he conceded that only an injury or suspension affecting Ankergren would give him the chance to make any contribution to the final throes of the season.
Flahavan said: "I've been working as hard as I can to get myself fit and sharp, and to get my first game in.
"I'm delighted to have done that and it's just a shame that the season's almost over.
"It would have been nice if I could have come here in September and staked my claim but it seems a little too late now and I don't expect to be thrown into the play-off games. I'm not stupid.
"But the truth is it was never going to be a case of me coming here and expecting a starting place straight away. That would have been pretty ignorant.
"I'd been out for a long time and it was a case of saying 'yes' to Leeds and seeing what happens. When Leeds United coming knocking on your door you don't turn it down, and I'm no different.
"I came here to get focused again and to get my hunger back.
"The lads are naturally buzzing and I wanted to be in that environment while I was doing my rehab.
"I wanted to be around people who are ambitious and want to win things.
"That was a definite factor. When you're in the dressing room with winners, it rubs off on you.
"With me recovering from injury, I told myself I'd got nothing to lose going to a club like this. I'm thoroughly delighted to be here."
Recruiting Flahavan was perhaps Simon Grayson's way of heightening the focus and form of Ankergren, who has been ever-present in teams selected by United's present manager.
The former Southend United keeper was never intended to be an immediate stand-in for Ankergren, whose performances have been increasingly consistent during the second half of the season, and Grayson will see great merit in Flahavan's 90-minute appearance on Tuesday night â€" his first since suffering a broken nose and chipped teeth during a reserve match for Palace in February.
Grayson already has David Lucas in reserve, and proof of Flahavan's fitness will reassure him that Leeds will not be left without two fit and experienced goalkeepers during May.
Moreover, should Ankergren be forced to withdraw from the team, he has an alternative keeper who played in League One’s play-offs as recently as last season.
Flahavan left Southend to join Palace a year ago, but he has struggled to make his presence felt at Selhurst Park.
Julian Speroni is Neil Warnock’s first-choice option, and Warnock rarely favours the inclusion of a second keeper among his substitutes.
Tuesday night’s outing may prove to be Flahavan’s first and last in a Leeds shirt â€" the club’s title-winning reserve campaign ended with their 1-0 win over Rotherham â€" but he does not regret the chance of a change of scene with a squad who will begin their play-off campaign in nine days’ time.
“I think at Palace I’d have gone through the motions until the end of the season if I’m honest,” he said.
“Coming here has really focused me.
“I’ve had a bad injury and it’s a nice feeling to get back out there. It’s been a long time since I had 90 minutes.
“I understood in the week that we needed to win the game to win the (reserve) league. No pressure or anything!
“It was all about getting back into the swing of things for me and keeping a clean sheet was good.
“The conditions were wet and difficult, and that meant it was all positive.
“Obviously, I felt a bit rusty and a bit sluggish but I was pleased with how I went.
“I probably wouldn’t have gone to any other League One club, and I came here because it’s Leeds United.
“I wanted to get my hunger back and if coming here has helped to raise Casper’s game as well then great â€" I’ll have done my bit to help.”
Flahavan knows the play-offs intimately, and he can see in Grayson’s squad the nerve and qualities required to see them through the three weeks ahead.
He described United as the best of the League One teams likely to be involved, with MK Dons and Millwall already qualified and Scunthorpe United and Tranmere Rovers about to settle their fight for sixth position on Saturday.
“This team’s got every chance,” Flahavan said.
“I don’t want to put any pressure on the lads but, for me, they’re the best of the four teams in there and I hope they can do it.
“For me to be around, that is what I need.
“If I finished the season now then I’ll be playing catch up in pre-season.
“I could easily go home, go on holiday and chill out, but I want to stay sharp. I feel really positive about next season and I want to get back playing again.
“Staying here during the play-offs gives me â€" hopefully â€" an extra three weeks.
“I don’t know what my situation at Palace will be.
“I’ll have to speak to Neil Warnock in the summer and go from there.
“Whether coming here would be an option â€" a fantastic one â€" isn’t for me to say, but if I hadn’t come in the first place then I’d always be wondering ‘what if?’”
