Snodin i YEP:
Snodin, who spent six seasons at Charlton under Alan Curbishley, now feels the Leeds coaching staff are beginning to get the best out of their players. The 48-year-old has also been impressed with how Simon Grayson has responded to the Hereford debacle, and had no
hesitation in tipping the young Leeds boss for the top.
Snodin said: "Simon's very good. I've been very impressed with Simon, on how he acts and reacts to things and how he manages the lads.
Promotion
"His knowledge of the game is very good, even at a young age, and I think he can go a long way.
"Obviously he's now got the chance and he can take this club on."
Snodin, a member of Leeds' promotion and title-winning squads in the early 90s, began his coaching career at Scarborough and then
Doncaster, before making a name for himself under Curbishley at the
Valley. He also worked alongside Scotland coach George Burley at Southampton before reuniting with Curbishley in the Premier League at West Ham.
He added: "Simon took Blackpool to the Championship and, no
disrespect to Blackpool, when you look at the players and the team he took up there to what he's got here, the Leeds players will respect what he's done.
"I've worked with Alan Curbishley for many years, and George Burley, and you can put him (Simon) up there with them because he eats, sleeps and drinks football."
