Leeds head coach Neil Redfearn has no major new injury or suspension worries to report as he begins to look at more academy players.

Vi har ikke møtt Fulham borte siden vi rykket ned fra Premier League i 2004. Både McCormack og Smith møter gamle lagkamerater. Ingen av dem er som de var i fjorårssesongen med McCormack kanskje som, den største negative overraskelsen etter han gigaovergang i sommer.
Opp gjennom årene har vi hatt mange feider, også på bortebane. Lereds har ikke vunnet her siden 1985, men det er bare fire kamper det dreier seg om.
Vi er inne i en relativt god steam, mens Fulham bare har vunnet en kamp på sine siste 12 forsøk.

Det blir tøft i dag, men jeg tror vi vinner denne hvis forsvaret holder stand mot STORE Smith.

Neil Redfearn says he will be mindful of the fact that his side face another game in quick succession when he selects the team for Wednesday night’s trip to Fulham (8pm).

The game could come too soon for duo Sam Byram and Rodolph Austin, who were both absent once again through injury for Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest, while on-loan midfielder Granddi Ngoyi has featured for the Under-21s in a bid to step up his recovery.

"We’ve got Rudy Austin coming back, he’s not too far away and Sam Byram is getting back to where he needs to be – it’s healing now," Redfearn explained.

"Granddi Ngoyi played for the Under-21s on Tuesday at Palace. If he comes through that, we can maybe think about him for Saturday.

"We’ve got one or two people coming back, which is pleasing, because the midfield area has been an area where we’ve perhaps been a little bit short of cover in recent weeks.

"To be fair to the lads, they’ve battled on mindfully and we’ve rode our luck injury-wise with those that have been playing, but it’s pleasing to get some of them back."

The Craven Cottage trip falls right in the middle of Championship fixtures against Forest and Blackpool, meaning Redfearn will have a day less than the Seasiders, who were in action last night, to prepare for Saturday’s game.

"We’ve got to think about the fact that we’ve got another game on Saturday pretty quickly when we play on the Wednesday and not the Tuesday," said the head coach. "That’s going to come into our thinking.

"Then we’ll get the international break, which will be needed. There are a lot of lads who have played a lot of football.

"Then we’ll go into another run of games in the Easter period.

"We’re going to have to look at the players we’ve got and it’ll give us a chance to have a look at one or two others.

"But I don’t really want to dilute the run that we’re on and I want to respect the division. I want to finish strong.

"The message has still got to be that you’ve got to play well to get in. I don’t want to start upsetting the balance of that."

Er ikke veldig optimistisk i dag. Det ligger liksom litt i kortene at vi kommer til å tape, etter mål av McCormack og/eller Smith.

Kampene kommer tett nå, og Redfearn er vel nødt til å rullere litt på mannskapet.

Personlig hadde jeg gjerne sett at Antenucci fikk prøve seg fra start igjen. Det gjelder også å ha flest mulig fornøyde spillere i troppen, og Ante trenger et bevis på at han er mer enn en reserve med korte innhopp.

Selv om Morison ikke har gjort seg bort, kan det ikke feies under teppet at han står uten tellende scoringer over lang tid. Jeg synes Redfearn burde gjøre plass for Ante på bekostning av Morison, helst sammen med Sharp.

Det hevdes at de to er for like som spisser, men er denne kombinasjonen egentlig testet ut i kamp?

Fulham FC ble stiftet så tidlig som 1879, og fra til nedrykket I fjor var de den eldste PL klubben fra London.  Klubben spiller sine kamper på Craven Cottage ved bredden av Thames et stykke vest i hovedstaden.  Craven Cottage har vært klubbens tilholdssted siden 1896, og den er i dag en all-seater med kapasitet til 25 700 tilskuere.  Rekorden før sitteplassene overtok er på 49 375, fra en kamp mot Millwall Dockers i 1938.
Fulham rykket ned fra PL etter 2013/14 sesongen, etter 13 sesonger i PL.  Før den tid har klubben ytterligere 12 sesongen på øverste nivå, 1949-1952 (3) og 1959 – 1968 (9).
Historien har ellers vært preget av opphold på nivå 2 og 3.
Som 2. divisjonslag tapte også Fulham FA-Cup finalen i 1975 mot West Ham (2-0).

I perioden 1986-1994 befant klubben seg på nivå 3, for så å rykke ned til nivå 4.  Det ble opprykk i 1997, etter å ha blitt nr 2 med samme poengsum som som vinneren Wigan.
Et typisk triviafact i så måte er at denne sesongen endret systemet seg slik at mest scorede mål gikk foran målforskjell.  En av de som argumenterte for en slik endring tidligere i sesongen var Fulham’s direktør.
Sommeren 1997 kjøpte Al-Fayed klubben, og gjorde kraftige endringer i tillegg til å sprøyte inn midler.  Det ble 2 sesonger på nivå 3, og 2 på nivå 2 før klubben tok steget opp i PL.  Med Jean Tigana ved roret, og 101 av 138 mulige poeng var Championshiptriumfen formidabel.  To år tidligere oppnådde man for øvrig samme poengsum ved opprykket fra nivå 3.
Fulham rakk aldri å skape PL-furore i sine 13 år i divisjonen.  En i beste fall middelhavsfarer, som tross alt hadde sine øyeblikk.  Spesielt årene med Roy Hodgson huskes.  Første en dramatisk overlevelsesaksjon, før de sesongen etter ble nr 7 og kvalifiserte seg til Europa League.  Hamburg, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk og Basel ble slått, før det ble 2-1 tap etter ekstraomganger mot Atletico Madrid i finalen.
Flere tålig bra sesonger fulgte, før Al-Fayed solgte seg ut i 2013.  Deretter gikk det straka vegen nedåt, og nå er de altså i Championship igjen.
Fulham’s siste manager i PL var Felix Magath.  En mildt sagt sær tysker som i et tilfelle overså legenes råd om å la Brede Hangeland hvile, og i stedet beordret Brede til å binde en ost over låret der det gjord vondt, og tvinge ham til å spille.   Hm.
Fulhams største rivaler er Chelsea, men også vest-London klubbene QPR og Brentford er rivaler
Fulham ble i 1926 første engelske klubb som solgte pølser (hot-dogs) på stadion!
Fulham ble første klubb som scoret 3 mål i en FA-cup seminfinale, og likevel tape.  Scum vant 5-3 i 1958.
I 1980 dannet Fulham FC rugbyklubben Fulham Rugby League.  Denne klubben har nå utviklet seg til å bli London Broncos.

Kjøpte Konstantinos Mitroglu fra Olympiakos i 2014 for 12,5 mill £
Solgte Mousa Dembele til Spurs for 15 mill £ i 2012
