Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has hailed Andrea Radrizzani.
Leeds United are back in action tonight as they travel to take on Hull City, and Mateusz Klich will be looking to continue his fine form this season.
The Polish midfielder was snapped up from FC Twente in 2017, but was cast aside by Thomas Christiansen before being sent out on loan to FC Utrecht for the second half of last season.
Few thought that Klich would have a future at Elland Road, but his situation has completely changed under Marcelo Bielsa, as he has become a star with the Whites.
Friday's goal to earn a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday took Klich to four goals and two assists I just 10 league games this season, and his form has put him back into the Poland national team setup.
Over the weekend, Klich spoke to Poland's version of Eleven Sports, and he was unsurprisingly asked about Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani given that he also owns Eleven Sports.
Radrizzani's sports provider are making waves in the football broadcast industry, offering online streaming of Serie A, La Liga, the Champions League, the Bundesliga and more, with Radrizzani no doubt delighted with how Leeds and Eleven Sports are serving him of late.
Klich was asked about Radrizzani given that the interviewer therefore having the same boss, and the midfielder suggested that Radrizzani is the best boss he has ever worked for as he is so close to the team, something he hasn't really experienced elsewhere.“No, I've never had a better boss, he is the best,†said Klich. “Okay, being serious, I have to say that the club means a lot to him, which is incredible. He often comes to see our games and visits us in our training ground. I've never had a boss who was so close to the club. For example, it would never happen in a place like Wolfsburg, where I played in the past. But here, Andrea is very, very close to the club,†he added.
Radrizzani – as seen below as the message was since deleted – thanked Klich on Twitter for his comments, and joked that he can have a lifelong free subscription to Eleven Sports' Polish output after Klich already admitted that he gets the English version for free thanks to Radrizzani.
