Ratings gjort av Phil Hay etter kampen:
Rob Green - Give the man a medal. But for him the score would have run to four or five. If others are struggling, Green is at least bang in form. 9/10
Luke Ayling - Not himself and didn’t cope with Canos at all well. The marauding runs were missing and his defending was suspect. 4/10
Kyle Bartley - Had Jansson back alongside him but the old communication and assurance was gone. Owed Green a few pints by full-time. 5/10
Pontus Jansson - Taken apart by Brentford’s attack in the first half and not many sides are able to say that. A long way from his best. 5/10
Gaetano Berardi - As aggressive as ever but wasn’t able to channel it to any real effect. Very stretched in the latter stages. 5/10
Liam Bridcutt - Not an unfamiliar performance from the midfield or from Bridcutt. At this late stage, Monk has to find a way of reinforcing that area. 5/10
Kalvin Phillips - It was easy in spells to forget that Phillips was on the pitch. Brentford had the run of the field for 45 minutes. 4/10
Mo Barrow - Completely anonymous in the first half but did at least come up with a couple of efforts in the second, suggesting that he can be a threat. 5/10
Pablo Hernandez - Struggling at present to pull the strings at number 10. No doubt about his quality when he’s on song but he hasn’t been for a while. 5/10
Stuart Dallas - Back against his old club but didn’t make Brentford think that they’d made a big mistake by letting him go. Leeds were crying out for a Sergi Canos. 5/10
Chris Wood - For the second game running, was given so little to work with. He can’t be expected to carve goals out of nothing. 5/10
Substitutes:
Alfonso Pedraza (for Dallas, 59) - Gave Brentford problems and was responsible for setting the tone in United’s best spell. 6/10
Kemar Roofe (for Barrow, 66) - Had one half-chance which Bentley saved but too much of the match passed him by. 5/10
Souleymane Doukara (for Bridcutt, 71) - Never looked like turning the game. 5/10
Subs (not used): Marco Silvestri, Charlie Taylor, Ronaldo Vieira, Eunan O'Kane.
Referee: David Coote (Nottinghamshire) - As good as you tend to get in the Championship. The debatable calls were insignificant. 7/10
