Hjemme på Elland Road under the lights... :)

Ønsker dette laget i 3-4-3 formasjon:

Darlow - Rodon, Bijol, Struijk - Bogle, Stach, Ampadu, Justin - Gnonto, DCL, Nmecha

Vi er nødt til å gå litt offensivt til verks! Samtidig så er Brentford, som Asbjørn skriver, et godt kontringslag, så vi kan ikke gå all in attack akkurat.

Tidlig tips: 2-0 (DCL og Rodon).

Okafor rett inn for meg. Han gav Collins og Van Der Berg problemer sist.

2-0 Leeds

Fully fit squad
Okafor is back in team training since the beginning of the week. Everyone is available.

Squad mood
Yes, from the first day we were confident. Many brilliant performances. Everyone is aware of the animal the PL is. We can take confidence from the last games, but there is still work to do. I am sure we will prove we can stay in this league. We are on a good path but nothing in achieved yet.

Relegation picture
I expect each and every team to fight until the end and stay in this league. It is one of those seasons where you need to get more points. I don't expect 38 pts will be enough. We need six to eight points. We have eight opportunities to win them.

Tyr til Adonis Storr igjen for å ta det essensielle fra pressren:
#LUFC v Brentford Pre-Match Press Conference

- Okafor back in team training therefore *everyone is available*. Noah likely won't start due to being out for several weeks.

- On Gudmundsson absence: "JJ is the natural replacement for him but we also have other options like a winger, or Sam Byram." Farke doesn't see Struijk in that position "running up and down the flank".

- On the formation v Palace with two up top: "It's difficult to judge because of what happened at Palace. But at HT we had several chances. It was a strange game because the ball was rarely in play, there were lots of dead ball situations. It was not an unbelievable fluid game. And then we had to change at HT because we had one man less. But in general I can always count on Lukas Nmecha. We have lots of options."

- On Brentford: "You have to give lots of credit to them. Also the manager. And how the whole club has dealt with the change of manager. And they are also fighting for European qualification. But we have also shown in the away game I think it was a well deserved draw. We won many, many statistics and should have, by the stats maybe, even won the game. So we have proven we have managed to find solutions to the questions Brentford pose. They have many threats not just Thiago, but Schade, their CBs can score. They are dangerous on the counter, dangerous out of possession. But this is an opportunity for us."

- On #LUFC being one of the only teams to not allow Thiago any shots in the first game: "Yes its factor but it would not be enough to just focus on him."

- On getting more goals: "Very happy with the training week and also against Norwich who had many clean sheets before that game and we had lots of chances. And Palace was difficult - but even then we should have had at least a few goals at half time and in the second half with an underload we had a higher xG also."

- On countering Brentford's counter: "Sometimes they use a target man. They are well organised against the ball, win the ball deep and have a lot of space to work with. They have the creative players to play the initiating pass. They have a striker who is good at holding the ball but also has pace to attack in behind. So they are a little unpredictable. But you just have to be aware of their threats. But it is one of my most important topics on how to control the game when you lose the ball and we spend lots of time training that."

- On the change of tactics this season: "As a promoted side you have to be willing to change things or you won't be able to compete. We have to chase games more often than last season and opponents on this level don't offer much. The physicality and pace of defensive players is better so it is harder for our offensive players to be dominant."

- On the relegation battle: "Every team will fight to the end. It's one of the seasons that you will need a few more points than 32 for example which would have been enough. We need 6-9 more points to stay up. 38 was always our target."

- On minimising injuries: "If you're lightning quick like Noah or Dan James then you are more likely to get an injury because you have more high speed sprints during a game. But you can't put them in cotton wool in training because then they wouldn't be ready for games. So you have to build resilience. Hard work is always the answer. But we also look at sleep, nutrition, recovery. We have had players with big injury records: DCL, Okafor, Byram, Firpo - and we've done well so far but we have to keep all the players fit. And it's rare that the whole squad is fit now in March so all praise to our physio and medical staff"

- On Joe Rodon's great crosses: "We joked that Rodon is the best crosser and way better than my wing-backs. In general, I want the CBs to chip in with goals and offensive passes. Of course it's not normal for Rodon to do 230 crosses each week. But in the hybrid role he needs to cross sometimes. So I believe the more you practice the better you get, but I doubt I will play him now only as a winger and he will put in crosses like David Beckham so he should keep his other strengths but he's on a good path to improve his other skills."

- On if he has received an apology from the referee v Palace: "No but not even an apology would help us right now, so GG is out and we have to cope with the situation"

- On playing Nmecha and DCL at the same time (two up top): "Both Nmecha and DCL have had injury records so you do have to manage the minutes of both. You also want a striker on the bench who can make an impact to try and change the game. They have similar attributes also so sometimes you need players who have different skills in 343 for example; and in this system you have to defend very wide. We had some games where we decided to play in 352 but sometimes if defending in 541 then its difficult for Nmecha or DCL to defend on the wing like a winger would. Sometimes you want two target players but on the other hand you are side that has to defend a lot and cover lots of distance and that isn't the central skill of the striker. But it's good sometimes to surprise an opponent but yes there are (quite) a few reasons why we haven't played two up front more if I'm honest."

- On the team's confidence of staying up: "We are confident and even more confident now than at the start of the season. We can take lots of confidence from our recent performances. If we don't get 6 more points from the remaining games then we probably don't deserve to stay in this league."

- On DCL getting called up to England potential: "I wouldn't be shocked, I just need him to focus on performing well for us. I don't just judge him on goals either, his hold up play is very good for instance I thought he was outstanding in the 2nd half v Palace where we had an underload and he had to hold the ball up and defend a lot."

- On Stach's call-up post Nagelsmann comments: "Well deserved because Anton plays in the best league in the world and his stats are consistent. And he has more or less adapted straight away. He has been outstanding and fully deserves this call up. Against the ball he puts a shift in. He has shown great quality in set pieces with goals and assists, he can inspire our attacking play. He can play deep or in like a wide number 10 and in different roles. And he now has the chance to impress (for Germany). Julien will get a top guy who will travel with confidence and I hope (Stach) can grab this chance with both hands."

- On National Team coaches calling him: "I never speak openly about national team coaches asking me about players because this is more or less between them and me. But in general I have good relationships with many national team coaches and yes sometimes they call me up about players."
