De Zerbi on whether James Maddison could get minutes against Leeds: "I am thinking about James Maddison because I am watching a top, top player. Maybe he is not ready yet to play, not as a physical condition but for the rhythm or intensity of the game. (contd)

Roberto De Zerbi with more injury news: "About Solanke, he is improving very quickly. I don't know if for this game....
Any fresh injuries: "No. I'm happy because we are working well with all the players. Another important week for us."

Roberto De Zerbi on Guglielmo Vicario: "No Vicario is not ready yet. I don't know what will be the plan. He's suffering because he would like to help the team and his team-mates. But he's not available yet."

Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi on if he is confident about securing a first home win against Leeds United...

"First of all, we go to play against one of the best teams in this moment. In the last five or six games, they won against Man Utd, drew at Bournemouth playing well, and won at home two times, and for that we have big respect.
"We can't think in different ways. We have to keep this mentality. We must remain humble. Nothing has changed. We have to prepare for an important game, but in the same way we are playing.
"We didn't play so well in Wolves, but in the first 30 mins we played ok. Against Brighton we played 90 minutes very well. We have to stay focused on this type of performance, attitude and spirit."

Roberto De Zerbi to 'change something' against Leeds...

"I would like to change depending on different games. The principles in football are very important. The mental part is crucial, but also the strategy can be very important.
"We will change something in the occupation of the spaces, but I would not like to give too many ideas or instructions, especially in this moment, because I don't want the players to lose energy thinking about the plan.
"I want the players to play with freedom and confidence, while following the plan because football is 11 players together, not like golf or tennis.
"[We need to do] the simple things, the clear things, because I think they are enough."
